Chart

23rd February, 2018 - 1st March, 2018

Top albums of the week:

1) James Arthur - 'James Arthur' (Debut)
2) James Arthur - 'Back From The Edge' (Debut)
3) Camila Cabello - 'Camila' (-1)
4) Various Artists - 'Black Panther: The Album' (-3)
5) MIST - 'Diamond In The Dirt' (-2)

This week Anne-Marie proves herself to be a force to be reckoned with on my charts as she climbs 2 places to #1 with 'Then', while simultaneously climbing 4 places to #2 with 'FRIENDS'. Both songs feature on Anne-Marie's upcoming debut album 'Speak Your Mind' which is set for release this April, and is an album that I'm pretty excited for! 'Then' becomes Anne-Marie's 1st ever #1 on my charts, and with her holding both of the top spots this week she joins a very exclusive club with only Camila Cabello as the only artists to ever accomplish this feat (though Camila has done it a whopping 8 times). Climbing for the 8th week in a row, Post Malone's 'rockstar' reaches another new peak this week as it breaks into the Top 3 at #3, while 'Fine Line', 'She Loves Control' and 'Pray For Me' all lose ground from last week, currently at #4, #5 and #6, respectively.

This week's highest new entry comes from the artist who also holds both of the top spots on my albums chart, as James Arthur debuts at #7 with 'You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You'. James also manages to chart another 5 songs in my chart, including 2 more in the Top 20. The big boost for all of his songs comes after I purchased tickets for his concert in Scarborough on 26th July, making that the 3rd concert I have tickets for in a 2 month period, as I also have tickets for Camila Cabello in Birmingham on 6th June and Ed Sheeran in Newcastle on 10th June!

Other new entries this week come from Tom Walker with 'Leave a Light On' at #20, 'Home' from 'Netflix's Bright (The Album)' at #22, 'Cigarette' by RAYE, Mabel & Stefflon Don at #28, Post Malone's new track 'Psycho' at #36 and BlocBoy JB & Drake at #39 with 'Look Alive'. Camila Cabello's 'Never Be The Same' also sees a re-entry at #38, and this week's highest climber also comes from her as 'All These Years' jumps 6 places to #34 from its re-entry last week.

Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Cool chart Gameskiller! :)
I'm surprised to see so many debuts from James Arthur, as well as him having the Top 2 albums of the week, but I don't mind that happening at all.
My favourite parts of your chart this week is the continued gain for 'Friends' (& that it's predicted to hit #1 next week), as well as the re-entry for 'Never Be The Same'!
I also like seeing 'God's Plan' & 'IDGAF' on course to reach the Top 10 in the next chart.
See you soon!

Hey Piran! James Arthur had a really good week because I heard that he was doing a concert in the town next to mine, and me and a few friends thought that we may as well go since the tickets were relatively cheap and the concert was so close. I've always liked James Arthur's songs that I've heard but before then I'd never actually listened to his albums in full, so I went and listened to them after we decided that. And, as you can see in this chart, I liked a lot of the songs on them!
At the moment 'FRIENDS' has a huge lead for #1 on my chart tomorrow, so I think that it may be one of the few songs that actually manages multiple weeks at #1 on my chart! If it does it'll be only the 8th song to do so, and only the 3rd not featuring Camila or Ed.
Thanks for the comment! :D

Hello Gameskiller :) Great chart. It was fun reading it. A big week from Anne-Marie. I like 'FRIENDS'. It's great to see 'She Loves Control' and 'rockstar' as well, but I'm sad that 'Pray For Me' lost 4 places. Your Top 10 is really great, as 'Pray For Me', 'All The Stars' and 'The Middle' are the songs I really love & they are dominating my chart at the moment as well! It's awesome to see so many entries from James Arthur! Am I missing out on something, did he release an album recently? Overall, your chart is awesome. I also like: 'Never Be The Same', 'King's Dead', 'Oops', 'River', 'Havana', 'Something's Gotta Give', 'Paramedie!', 'Mercy', 'X', 'Say Something', 'IDGAF', 'God's Plan'. I see a lot of BP tracks, so I suppose you have seen the movie, what do you think of it? Once again, great chart mate. It was a pleasure commenting it and I'm glad we share so much music! See you soon!

Hey RandomGuy! Yeah, Anne-Marie has definitely had some good weeks on my chart recently, especially this week. I'm really excited for her debut album coming out late next month, and I'm pretty sure that it will have a pretty huge impact on my chart when it releases! 'rockstar' has also been doing really well on my chart recently. It actually dropped out for 1 week in December, but I've really got back into the song and it's now easily beaten its previous peak of #7.
As for James Arthur, you've not missed anything. As I've just said to Piran, he had a really good week because I heard that he was doing a concert in the town next to mine, and me and a few friends thought that we may as well go since the tickets were relatively cheap and the concert was so close. I've always liked James Arthur's songs that I've heard but before then I'd never actually listened to his albums in full, so I went and listened to them after we decided that. And, as you can see in this chart, I liked a lot of the songs on them!
I haven't actually seen 'Black Panther', I just really like the soundtrack! I'm not a huge movie watcher but after 'All The Stars' and 'Pray For Me' I was looking forward to the soundtrack, and it's currently tied with MIST's 'Diamond In The Dirt' as my 2nd favourite album of 2018 so far (both behind 'Camila').
Thanks for the comment! :D

hey Gameskiller, sorry for the late comment but here I am! it's cool to see Anne-Marie at #1 and #2, and I agree that her album coming out next month is exciting! she's had 4 top 10s (Ciao Adios, Rockabye, Heavy & Friends) and one more top 15 (Alarm) on my chart, and those were the only songs available. I like seeing the debuts for Home, Psycho and Look Alive, but I'm not much of a fan of Cigarette to be honest. I also like seeing NBTS re-enter and the climb for All These Years!
and it's cool that you're going to all those concerts in the summer, hope you enjoy them! speak to you soon! :)

Hey Calum! Don't worry about being late, this is actually my first time on CrownNote since Sunday! I've had a really busy week this week.
It was a really good week for Anne-Marie, and it's looking to be a good week for her for my next few charts as well! 'FRIENDS' currently has a huge lead at #1 for my chart tomorrow, and given its huge lead I think that it may be one of the few songs that manages more than 1 week at #1 on my chart! If it does it'll be only the 8th song overall and 3rd not featuring Camila or Ed to do so!
'Never Be The Same' and 'All These Years' should keep climbing next week, but it may not be by much. I can see those 2 staying somewhere in between #30 and #40 for a few weeks now.
I'm really looking forward to June & July this year, because not only am I going to concerts for my favourite 2 artists within a week of each other, and another artist that I like a lot less than 2 months later, but I'm also going to a local music festival from 6th - 8th July! But that's where pretty much all of my money has gone so far this year! :D
Thanks for the comment!
