Hey Piran! NF was always going to have a big impact when he released this album, but even I didn't quite expect it to be this big. I thought he'd have a very tough time passing 'Perception' for me, as it's a great album, but he did it seemingly with ease with 'The Search'! The craziest part about its impact this week for me is the fact that both it and 'No.6 Collaborations Project' could've held the entire Top 10 if the other album wasn't on the chart! 'The Search' charting at #7 is of course great, and I was extremely surprised to learn that 'Perception' didn't even make the Top 100 in the UK, despite reaching #1 in the US! If I were to recommend just 2 songs from the album to you, of course it'd be 'Time' and 'Only'. Both fall on the more emotional side of NF's discography, like 'Let You Down', rather than the fast, hard-hitting rap side, and I think you'd quite like both of them! Those 3 Ed tracks should stick around in the Top 10 for a while longer, and 'Señorita's chart history is really interesting here. If not for 'No.6 Collaborations Project' & 'The Search', it'd currently be spending its 6th consecutive week as a Top 3 single, but as it is it's been pushed all the way out of the Top 20! Next week, 'Antisocial' and 'Only' will be pretty close, but the former has the edge for sure, and 'boyfriend' should be an easy Top 10, though 'fuck, i'm lonely' may just miss out. Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Sergej! I thought that NF would have a hard time surpassing 'Perception' since that's such a great album for me, but he did it seemingly with ease with 'The Search'! I'd definitely recommend checking it out whenever you get the chance. 'Bad Behaviour' should be able to easily climb next week thanks to 'High Expectations', and it'll probably be quite close between 'Antisocial' and 'Only' for #1, though I think 'Antisocial' has the edge for now. Thanks for the comment, and I'll check out your chart now! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
While I've not heard his new album yet, it's insane how big of an impact NF had here this week! I bet you'll be very happy to know that 'The Search' debuted at #7 on the Official Albums Chart.
I'm glad that: 'Antisocial', 'South Of The Border' & 'Take Me Back To London' all kept their Top 10 positions, although it's a shame to see 'Senorita' take such another big drop!
Looking ahead to next week, I like seeing 'Antisocial' set to return to the top, along with the Top 10 debuts for 'Boyfriend' & 'F**k, I'm Lonely', since both are not far off the Top 10 in my latest predictions either.
Really good chart again!
