My Favourite Songs, Albums and Artists of All Time: https://crownnote.com/charts/gameskiller01/my-favourite-songs-of-all-time

Top albums of the week:

1) Dave - 'We're All Alone In This Together' (=)   [100%]
2) Ed Sheeran - '=' (Debut)   [93%]
3) Dave - 'PSYCHODRAMA' (-1)   [29%]
4) Ed Sheeran - '×' (-1)   [16%]
5) Lil Nas X - 'MONTERO' (-1)   [12%]

Notable events:

  • Fending off strong competition from Ed Sheeran, 'We're All Alone In This Together' gets a 15th consecutive week at #1
  • It means that '=' has to settle for a #2 debut, his 3rd Top 2 album on my charts
  • Ed sees better luck on the singles chart, though, as '2step' debuts at #1 to become his 13th chart topper
  • Ed also sees debuts at #4 and #6, bringing his Top 10 total up to an even 40
  • His 8 debuts throughout the rest of the chart bring his total up to a whopping 84 chart entries
  • Dave more than holds his own, though, holding 5 of the Top 10, tying Ed, and 12 of the Top 20, actually beating Ed
  • It takes until #22 until we see a song not by Ed or Dave, and that song is 'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)', holding up well
  • The highest non-Ed debut comes at #26 with SwitchOTR & A1 x J1 with 'Coming for You', the latter's 2nd chart entry
  • MEDUZA get their 4th chart entry while Hozier gets his 1st as Tell It To My Heart' debuts at #32
  • 2 places below, it's a 3rd chart entry for Joel Corry and a 24th for Mabel with 'I Wish' debuting at #34

Hey Gameskiller! I'm kinda surprised Ed wasn't strong enough to occupy the entire Top 10 so it's cool to see the longevity of Dave's album in both charts. It's really depressing to see 'Don't Play' and 'God is a woman' on the way out though!! Great chart as always :)

Hey Rector! It's been so long since I used the CN comments that I kinda half forgot they even existed ngl haha. Yeah, Ed's album obviously did very well but nothing is strong enough to beat 'We're All Alone In This Together' for now! That album is almost certainly to break 'beerbongs & bemtleys' record of 18 consecutive weeks at #1, and will probably beat its total of 26 weeks as well. It also just beat 'Romance's record of having all of its songs charting for the longest on the chart I just uploaded, with 'Romance' having its 14 tracks all charting for 15 weeks in total, and 'We're All Alone In This Together' now having all 12 of its tracks charting for 16 weeks. As for 'Don't Play' and 'God is a woman', they mostly only dropped because of the album bomb, so I wouldn't count them out entirely just yet! Thanks for the comment! :D
