After climbing to #1 last week, Lauren Jauregui's 'Expectations' stays there for a 2nd week, becoming only the 11th song to spend multiple weeks at #1, and 8th to manage it in consecutive weeks. It's the 1st since 'God is a woman' spent a record-breaking 9 consecutive weeks at the summit starting at the end of July. It fends off strong competition from Ariana Grande, who occupies both the #2 and #3 spots. 'thank u, next' makes a huge debut at #2 to become Ariana's 5th Top 4 hit of the year following the #4-peaking 'no tears left to cry', #3-peaking 'everytime', #2-peaking 'breathin' and huge #1 'God is a woman', which spends a record-extending 17th consecutive week in the Top 3 this week. Eminem gets his 13th Top 5 hit as 'Mockingbird' climbs 3 places to #5, just coming short of Camila's record of 14 Top 5 hits, while Halsey's 'Without Me' rebounds again to #6. At #9 XXXTENTACION's 'Arms Around You' climbs 2 to become all artist's 1st Top 10 hits, other than Swae Lee who has reached #3 with Post Malone on 'Sunflower'.

Just outside of the Top 10 2 songs make massive gains, the first of which is Rudimental's 'Walk Alone'. The track climbs 8 places to #12, beating Tom Walker's previou peak of #16 with 'Leave a Light On' and coming close to Rudimental's peak of #10 with 'Sun Comes Up'. The other track is just below at #13 as 'Happy Now' by Kygo makes a big 9 place climb to become Kygo's highest chart poisiton, beating his previous best of #14 with 'First Time'. It also comes close to Sandro Cavazza's peak of #7 on Avicii's 'Without You' following his passing earlier this year. #14-#16 are all held by tracks from Khalid's 'Suncity' EP as 'Better' drops 4 while 'Motion' climbs 1 and 'Suncity' makes a big climb of 7 places to become his 8th Top 20 hit. At #22 Post Malone's '92 Explorer' rebound 2 places, and Clean Bandit's 'Baby' climbs 2 to #25.

The 2nd highest debut of the week comes from an artist who has never before charted; Ava Max's 'Sweet but Psycho' debuts at #27. This song has some serious momentium behind it at the moment, so expect it to make a big climb next week! At #28 Professor Green & Rag'n'Bone Man climb 5 with 'Photographs' , while Jonas Blue sees his 5th entry on my charts and Nina Nesbitt sees her 2nd as 'Desperate' debuts at #31. Hailee Steinfeld sees her 3rd entry on my charts as she debuts at #34 with 'Back to Life', and, finally, Charli XCX & Troye Sivan debut at #36 with '1999'. This is another song with a lot of momentum behind it at the moment, so expect this to make a big climb next week as well!
