Chart

Billboard Hot 30

In week twenty, Drake's new album Scorpion means Drake controls this week chart with a hefty amount of songs moving up and debuting. At number one, "Nonstop" by Drake debuts with the largest amount of streams for a song in chart history. An early fan-favorite streaming song, "Nonstop" has the highest ranking song with the lowest sales in chart history, as the song barely makes any sales in the week. At number two, Drake's own previous leader, "Nice For What" maintains its position from last week. Although down hefty amounts in radio, the release of the album balances the songs loses with an increase in streaming sites. "Nice For What" is expected to continue its descent next week as radio continues to decrease and the streaming dies down. At number three, Cardi B's "I Like It" rises one spot, even with a song debuting above it. With calculations, Cardi B would be number one this week without the debut of Drake's album, thus granting Cardi B her third leader after "Finesse" with Bruno Mars and "Girls Like You" with Maroon 5. Without Drake's album, the aforementioned song would have dropped to number two and granted Cardi B the honor of being the first artist to hold the top two spots, however, that honor now goes to drake with "Nonstop" and "Nice For What". While Maroon 5 and Cardi B drop three spots to number four, Drake debuts at number six with "Don't Matter to Me' featuring Michael Jackson, and thus the late rockstar helps Drake to be the first artist with three songs in the top ten at the same time. Althought two songs debut above it, "Lucid Dreams" by Juice WRLD keeps at number nine, hinting the song's future to continue its ascent once the hype behind the Drake songs dies down. At number thirteen, Drake pushes up four spots with "I'm Upset" as the song is aided by its official music video and new help from Scorpion. At number eighteen, Drake debuts again with "After Dark" featuring the late Static Major and Ty Dolla $ign while also debuting at number twenty-one with "In My Feelings". Perhaps signaling "In My Feelings" future wealth on the charts, the song is aided this week by one day of its new viral challenge and should actually sport gains next week, uncommon for songs that debut so high on the chart. At number twenty-five, Drake's previous leader "God's Plan" reeneters the chart after almost two months away and at number twenty-eight is Drake's own "Emotionless". Drake has ten songs on this weeks chart, a new record that seems hard to pass in the foreseeable future. Adding to Drake's "Nonstop", "Nice For What", "Don't Matter To Me", "I'm Upset", "After Dark", "In My Feelings", "God's Plan", and "Emotionless", number eleven peaking song "Yes Indeed" by Lil Baby featuring Drake drop three spots to number sixteen while previous number three peaking "Walk It Talk It" by Migos drops six spots to number seventen.
