Notes:
- "Looking Up" keeps the top spot for its 7th week, but things are starting to get close between it and "Falling Apart" (#2). Next week should be another battle between the two, and potentially "Cake By The Ocean" (#3).
- "The Driver" drives into the Top 10, going 12-10 for a new peak. This has been rising nicely and could see a shot at #1 in its future. If it does, it'll be the first country song to ever get to #1. This should at the very least hit the Top 5, and as soon as two weeks from now.
- tobyMac has himself an outstanding week. "Til the Day I Die" rises 23-18 for a new peak. It is on its trek to the Top 10 and could get there soon. This might actually surpass the peak "Feel It" (#8) set last year, and be the top charting song from This Is Not A Test. Toby also debuts two new songs, the actual singles ("Til the Day I Die" is an album track at the moment), "Move (Keep Walkin')" at #62 and "Backseat Driver" at #63. He should be able to chart three songs at the same time and could do well with all three. This is really hard for an artist to do, but Toby could get it done.
- "Break Up In A Small Town" rises into the Top 30, going 31-27 for a new peak. This is starting to rise with some charters above it starting to falter. With that help, it could approach the Top 20 in the end.
- Kaleo finally sees the Top 40 with "Way Down We Go", going 41-37 for a new peak and needing 12 weeks to do it. This is starting to breakout and should see some nice gains. Kaleo in general have been seeing action, as "No Good" finds itself on On the Rise yet again this week. If they release their debut album (or EP) soon, they could see some gains similar to Charles Kelley and BANNERS.
- "PILLOWTALK" continues its onslaught as it rises 47-38 for a new peak. This song is completely devouring the competition right now and is on fire. This should continue to see monstrous boosts for the next couple of weeks. It's really pushing its projections up fast.
- Duke Dumont enters the Top 50 this week with "Ocean Drive" going 54-45 for a new peak. This has the potential to go Top 10, but the big climbs should stop soon. Next week it'll seek the Top 40.
- As Talay Riley nears the Top 5 with "101" (8-6), "Pink Cocaine" is starting to rip up the charts. This week it rises 56-48 for a new peak. I've been absolutely loving this as of late, and this might have the gas to go Top 10. "101" actually might have a shot at #1, and it would be cool to see him follow it up with this. Talay stated a few days ago that new music was coming soon, so that could mean his actual debut/reintroduction single is due out soon, but he also did release a cover of Kanye West's "30 Hours" on SoundCloud today, so it could have been that.
- The top debut this week belongs to Anderson .Paak with "Silicon Valley" at #57. I have been real into his new album Malibu lately, and this is by far my favorite. "Come Down" is currently his single, it makes an appearance on On the Rise this week, but I will likely go fully into this. I might end up doing a joint thing like I normally do. Back to this, I have been absolutely in love with this, and I've had this on repeat for multiple listens in a row a lot. This should see some huge gains the next few weeks.
