Hey Piran! I love Blinding Lights at #1 this week, as well as the debuts in the Top 10 for Me & You Together Song, and Godzilla. I also love Better Off Without You entering, as well as both MEDUZA re-entries, but where did they come from? The climbs for: The Box, Don't Start Now, Still Disappointed and Six Feet Under are awesome too! Great chart again mate! ;)

Hey Coolocelot! :)
I told you 'Blinding Lights' was getting that #1 this week! Glad you love it at the top of the chart though, although with Taylor Swift releasing a new single tomorrow ('Only The Young') & a song that Henri recommended to me growing on me so much ('Looking Back'), then The Weeknd is going to be facing a lot of competition for a second week there.
'Me & You Together Song' & 'Godzilla' were always going to massive Top 5 debuts for me after I rated tham both a 9/10 on OCC last week. They should fall a little in the next chart, but they'll probably both still be in the Top 10!
'Better Off Without You' is really starting to become big on the radio now, which is why it's also breaking in here for the first time! I think it's certainly potential to get a lot higher in the coming weeks.
Regarding both MEDUZA re-entries, the former is getting a lot of support from Love Island, while the latter is just a banger from 2019 that I love of come back too, particularly this past week!
I'm not sure if 'Still Disappointed' & 'Six Feet Under' will stick around much at all (or even appear on the next chart), but I do think 'The Box' & 'Don't Start Now' will continue their gains.
Thanks for the comment as usual mate!

Hi Piran. I think this is my favourite chart of yours so far in 2020. Highlights are of course, blinding lights at no.1 . Great to see 1975 enter high at number 3. Im a big fan of them but just not digging this song yet. Eminem enters in the top 5 and also darkness at the lower end of your chart. I had a feeling the Avicii debut would enter high. The intro sounds like a sample of Stings' shape of my heart. Great to see Dermot Kennedy re=enter your chart on 11. His album is growing on me. Also, Camilla with First man after her Grammy's performance. I wonder where Demi Lovato and Dua Lipa will chart for you next week?

Hey Zack! :)
I'm very pleased to hear that this is your favourite personal chart of mine so far this year.
Of course, I knew 'Blinding Lights' going to #1 would be a big highlight for you, especially given how well it's currently doing over on your own personal chart!
Yeah, 'Me & You Together Song' isn't even the best song from The 1975 that's even charted here, but it would still be a solid 9/10 from me for now! I get so many Oasis vibes whenever I hear this.
I'm a much bigger fan of Eminem's older music, but I can't deny that was 'Darkness' was so deep that it was always going to chart for me, but I honestly think 'Godzilla' is up there with some of his best tracks from his recent discography, especially with how fast he raps in the final verse!
Avicii has always been one of my favourite DJs, so a tribute to him is almost guaranteed to be a Top 10 hit in my books! I'm not sure how it'll last for unfortunately.
While 'Outnumbered' will always be Dermot Kennedy's signature hit, 'Power Over Me' has so much raw intensity behind it, that it honestly might come close for me with time!
'First Man' did indeed re-enter because of the Grammys! Regarding those other two songs you mentioned, I think 'Don't Start Now' will get another small rebound, while 'Anyone' might unfortunately get stuck in the bubbling under chart.
Thanks for the comment!

Yes, you are right, 'Darkness' is quite controversial and 'Godzilla' does have a fast rap at the end that beats his previous rap from 'rap god'. Regarding Dua Lipa, I was more mentioning her new song 'Physical'. Also has an 80s vibe just like 'blinding lights'

Oh, fair enough, haha!
I actually heard 'Physical' for the first time this afternoon & it should definitely be debuting at #1 for me next week.
Where should it end up on your next chart?

I'm loving 'Physical' but Taylor Swift is back to her best with her new song too. Its a 4 horse race next week between the Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Demi Lovato. My new chart is out now

Hey Piran!
The top 2: amazing, exactly the same as mine this week!
Out of all the debuts I like almost all of them, except for: "Looking Back" and "Jättiläinen", which I haven't heard yet. The returns are all great as well!
I've put my chart as well, check it out if you have the time!
Great chart as always!

Hey Sergej! :)
Yeah, that is indeed amazing! I also love the fact that we have common #1's in consecutive weeks, but with different songs.
'Looking Back' is a potential ESC entry for Finland, so I think it'd definitely capture your interest!
Simiarly, 'Jättiläinen' is almost a throwback, since it spent a week at #1 on "Suomen Virallinen Lista" (Finnish Official Chart) back in January 2018, which was recommended to me by someone on Headline Planet not too long ago.
Other than that, it's amazing to hear that you like all the other songs that debuted this week!
I'll check out your chart in a few moments.
Thanks for the comment!

"Me & You Together Song" is quite catchy. I also like seeing "Blinding Lights" rise to #1, "The Box" hitting a new peak, and the debut of "Darkness". Glad "Into The Unknown" has reached the Bubbling Under, though I don't expect it'll get very high.

Hey Naos! :)
That's awesome you find 'Me & You Together Song' catchy, since I agree with you there! You said the same thing about 'Body Back' when you first heard it, so I can only hope this song will also chart for you too.
'Blinding Lights' will probably fall from #1 next week (given how much Dua Lipa & Taylor Swift are challenging it right now), but 'The Box' should still climb a little further before it peaks!
'Darkness' will probably drop out next week & yeah. I'm seeing 'Into The Unknown' just getting stuck in the Bubbling Under chart unfortunately.
Thanks for the comment mate!

Hey Piran! I absolutely love seeing 'Blinding Lights' climb up to #1 this week, on its 9th week on the chart as well! What's the longest climb to #1 ever on your charts? Mine's 'Better Now', which reached #1 on its 12th week on the chart, though 'Crown' did reach #1 25 weeks after it first debuted, but it was only its 8th week on the chart. I also really love seeing 'Godzilla' debut all the way up at #5, even if it is a week late haha! Have you heard the full album yet, and what do you think of it if you have? I like 'Own It' making that little climb to a new peak, as well as 'Lose Control' & 'Piece Of Your Heart' both re-entering. 'First Man' re-entering and 'Darkness' debuting are both great to see as well. Really great chart again this week, and I'd love if you could check out my 2019 Yearly Chart, as well as my most recent weekly chart, whenever you get the chance! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
That's awesome about you loving 'Blinding Lights' at #1 this week! I'm not sure it'll be at the top beyond this week, but it's certainly going to be sticking around in the Top 10 for a few more weeks to come.
Looking back through my charts, it appears 'Soldi' by Mahmood (a 2019 ESC song) reached #1 on its 12th week in the chart, back in May!
Yeah, I only heard 'Godzilla' when it topped the official chart, which is why it impacted my chart a week later.
I haven't heard the full album to be honest, just 'Those Kinda Nights' & 'Darkness'!
All of those other songs might struggle to get any higher sadly.
I've been really busy lately, so sorry for being slow at replying to your charts!
I promise I'll take a look when I can though.
Have a nice week mate!
