Hey Gameskiller! Thanks for commenting as usual. :)
Yeah, I really hope 'The Middle' makes it in to the Top 40 of the UK charts too & even though it has serious competition for me next week, I expect it to have longevity in my own chart!
From those other songs you mentioned, I think: 'Strangers', 'These Days' & 'Fine Line' are going to be climbing again next time.
I've only heard those two songs from 'Black Panther', but I'll let you know what I think of the soundtrack in general when I get around to hearing it in full!
I'm pleased to hear that you like all of my debuts this week, especially that really high score for 'The Middle'.
I hope to see you on the Official Chart Update article tomorrow!
Hello! I absolutely LOVE that "The Middle" topped your chart! Overall from your Top 12 I like everything except "In the Dark", which is only OK for me. I didn't hear many of your this week new entries so I decided to check them out before comment. Here's my ranking: "Pray For Me" (Good), "Mine" (Good), Storm (Nice), "All the Stars" (Great), "Go Bang" (Great) "Stir Fry" (OK). I didn't expect "Storm" in here, because many people critized this song on Youtube, meanwhile it's No.1 in your next week predictions! Anyway I can't wait for next chart!
Thanks for the comment Andrzej! :)
I'm very pleased that you like 'The Middle' so much, enough for it to be a #1 for you as well.
It's good to hear that you enjoy most of my Top 12 & all of my debuts this week!
'Storm' is honestly one of the best Eurovision entries the UK has had in a few years, but I wonder how they'll do in Lisbon in May, given the current state of European politics involving Brexit.
I'll leave a comment on your chart shortly & I'll see you soon!
I like gains from Filthy, Strangers, God's Plan & Live In The Moment and debuts from Pray For Me, All The Stars & Stir Fry. I'm very impressed by Black Panther soundtrack. I thought it would be worse. Did you listen to it?
From your bubbling under chart I like Supplies and Breeze of the Pond, while Wave and Montana sound okay.
I like most songs from your throwback chart, except #2 and #5 (because I don't know them) and of course #9. Great charts as always, Piran :D Have a nice week :)
Thanks for the comment Jake! :)
From those songs you mentioned, I think: 'Strangers', 'Pray For Me', 'All The Stars' & 'Stir Fry' are the most likely songs to come next week.
I'm pleased that you generally liked the JT songs in the bubbling under chart!
Regarding 'Black Panther', I've only heard 'All The Stars' & 'Pray For Me', but I plan to check out the rest of the soundtrack later in the week.
I'll see you on the Hot 100 article later!
Sorry I didn't get to this earlier. But regarding your Top 10, it's nice to see "The Middle" reach #1, and the gains for "Filthy" and "Say Something". I also like how close "Strangers" is (and it looks like it's entering next week, which is good). I also like the gain for "Lights Down Low" and the debut for "Mine" (which is looking to debut on my chart next week, it seems). The debut for "Stir Fry" is decent as well. I don't know your songs picking up big in your Top 10 next week though. I do like seeing all the Justin Timberlake in the Bubbling Under, even though the album wasn't great in my opinion.
That's fine, thanks for commenting anyway! :)
This will probably be the only week that 'The Middle' is at the top for, while 'Filthy' & 'Say Something' are going to be dropping back in my next chart unfortunately.
Yeah, 'Strangers' is definitely reaching the Top 10 next time, while: 'Lights Down Low', 'Mine' & 'Stir Fry' will be gaining!
Regarding those songs set to hit the next Top 10, I thought you said you liked 'These Days', but I don't expect you to know 'Storm' as it's the UK's Eurovision entry for this year.
I don't think many of those other JT songs in the bubbling under chart will be sticking around unfortunately!
My next chart will be up in about an hour or two, so I hope you check that out whenever you have time.
See you soon!
Thanks for the comment Sunshine Gal! :)
BTS might not be in my charts now, but they have hit the Top 10 twice with 'Best Of Me' & 'Mic Drop', while: 'DNA', 'Crystal Snow' & 'Dimple/Illegal' have also charted.
Yeah, I think you missed it, but it climbed 33-31 for me this week & it even peaked at #2. Have you watched the official video for it yet?
Hey Piran, great chart! I love seeing The Middle at #1, and climbs for The Chainsmokers and JT in the top 10! I also like seeing climbs for Strangers, These Days, God's Plan, Fine Line and Live In The Moment, and the debuts for Pray For Me, Mine and All The Stars, as well as the re-entries for Let Me Go and Silence! I listened to that predicted #1 for next week and its ok, but not great. I like the power in the chorus, but apart from that it's quite boring. I see it has only 11k Spotify plays, so how did you find out about it? speak to you soon! :)
Thanks for the comment Calum! :)
This will probably be 'The Middle's only week at #1, but of those other songs you mentioned: 'Strangers', 'These Days', 'God's Plan', 'Fine Line, 'Pray For Me', 'Mine', 'All The Stars' & 'Let Me Go' all have a chance to gain again next week.
Regarding 'Storm', it was the winning song at 'Eurovision: You Decide', where six singers compete for who will represent the UK at Eurovision & SuRie won it. I honestly think it's one of the best songs we've entered in a few years, partly because of the lyrics & that it was inspired by Avicii!
I'll comment on your new chart very soon, as I see you've uploaded a new one.
I won't be surprised if "The Middle" ends up being top 10 on Billboard, because something tells me that this will be a big hit in March-April. Not the most original song by Zedd, but at least it's better than "Stay". But "Get Low" was my favorite song by him as of late and that's with Liam Payne of all people, who I only tolerate so far.
Anyways, nice seeing "Finesse", "Filthy", "Sick Boy", and "Say Something", which actually grew on me today. By the end of this year, I'll probably end up playing it even more than "Filthy".
As for the rest of your chart, I like seeing "Marry Me", "Lights Down Low" (I might become a fan of MAX soon.), "Havana", "Perfect", "Pray For Me", "End Game", "Mine" (it debuted on my chart this week as well), "Let Me Go", and "Tip Toe".
Hey MrMcCloud! Thanks for commenting. :)
Yeah, it's not much better than 'Stay' in terms of production nor lyrics, but I really think Maren Morris put on a considerably better vocal performance than Alessia Cara did, although the latter artist is still a good singer!
As for those other songs you mentioned, I think: 'Lights Down Low', 'Pray For Me', 'Mine' & 'Tip Toe' should all gain in my next chart, which should be uploaded very soon.
I hope you have a nice remainder of the weekend!
Does anyone know why there isn't any descriptions for the Crown 100 anymore? It just has a title that briefly summarizes the chart but the description that offered more details has disappeared for a couple of weeks now....
Also, what are your thoughts on Issues by Julia Michaels, Sorry Not Sorry by Demi Lovato, and Rise Up by Andra Day?
Have a good day! (You have become the first person that I have followed!)
Hey Piran ! I love seeing 'The Middle' reach #1 on your chart this week, and 'Say Something' climbing into the Top 10 is great as well! The climbs for 'Strangers', 'These Days', 'God's Plan', 'Fine Line', 'End Game' and 'River' are all really great to see as well!
I really love seeing 'Pray For Me' and 'All The Stars' debut this week. Those are definitely the best 2 songs on 'Black Panther' for me, but there are a lot of other good songs on the album as well. I'd rate the debuts this week (that I've heard): 'Pray For Me' (95/100), 'Mine' (71/100), 'All the Stars' (83/100) and 'Stir Fry' (76/100).
I haven't heard the song predicted to go to #1 next week (though I know it's the UK's song for Eurovision), but I love that 'These Days' is set to climb to #3!
Great chart once again, and I'll speak to you soon! :D
