Sergej's Personal Chart 11.10.2024

I apologize in advance that the charts in the next few months will be hectic and crazy, but I have more focus in other things, mainly getting a new job.
So, if you see a song you like so much and it falls on my chart, please be gentle and don't get into ALL CAPS, it's because I am concentrating on finding a new job and music is for me now more like a hobby.

Sergej's Personal Highlights:
- The Weeknd stays at #1 for a fourth week with "Dancing In The Flames", becoming the second longest-running #1 this year, surpassing "Simple Life" and "Honey Boy".
- Alessia Cara rises up to #2 with "Dead Man", now becoming her biggest hit yet on Sergej's Personal Chart.
- Olly & Angelina Mango return to their original peak at #4, where they debuted with "Per Due Come Noi".
- Laura Pausini reaches her fourth top 10 hit in her career with "Ciao" at #6, this week's second biggest climber on the chart.

- Purple Disco Machine & The Magician reach a new peak with "All My Life" at #7.
- Meanwhile, Teddy Swims rises up to #8 with "Bad Dreams", his third top 10 hit, while Kygo & Imagine Dragons top their previous collaboration by reaching #9 with their second collaborative song "Stars Will Align".
- This week's highest debut comes from Coldplay with "ALL MY LOVE" debuting at #26, thanks to Coldplay's newest album which reaches #1 on Sergej's Album Chart.

Hey Sergej! :)

Glad to see the debuts for 'Diet Pepsi', 'You Go Your Way', 'Midnight Cowboy' & 'Indestructible'.

Good chart!

Hey Sergej!

Rooting for the Weeknd here! "Dancing In the Flames" is doing amazing with a 4th consecutive week at #1 and follow-up "Timeless" has the biggest jump of the week!

Also nice to see Little Mix members' debut with new tracks, the "Diet Pepsi" debut and the rise for "Bright Lights"!

Greta chart!

Hey Flamingo!

Glad that you like The Weeknd having success on my chart, "Dancing In The Flames" will be challenged next week from Alessia Cara with "Dead Man", the race for #1 will be a tough contested affair.

Also happy that you like both Perrie and Jade debuting in the same week with their new songs, the debut for "Diet Pepsi" and "Bright Lights" gaining.

Thank you for your comment and take care!

Hey Sergej! :D

The weeks are flying by so quickly. I can’t believe "Dancing In The Flames" has already spent a month at #1! I hadn’t paid much attention to "Dead Man" before, but now that it reached #2, I gave it a better listen, and I think it fully deserves its climb. It might even hit #1 next week. Last week, I couldn't check the charts, and I saw ClockClock had reached #2. "Someday Soon" is such an interesting track. It's heartwarming to see the legend Laura Pausini making a huge leap from 51-6 with "Ciao", proving she’s still going strong. I’m excited to see Teddy Swims back in your Top Ten—he’s probably my breakout artist of the year.

On another note, I totally agree that "Stars Will Align" hitting the Top Ten in its second week is well deserved; it’s a great track from the Kygo-Imagine Dragons duo.

It's great to see new peaks for "Human Being", "Timeless", "Up All Night" (I love this one!), and "Let’s Go Back." Thanks to your playlist, I gave "In Your Hands," "Black Nirvana," "Blood Sweat Tears," "Up All Night" (Nick Schilder), "Anger," and "Living A Lie" a closer listen, and they’re all really enjoyable. It’s nice to see "feelslikeimfallinginlove," "Didn’t I?" and "Indestructible" back in the Top 100 as well.

I’m liking the new debuts of "All My Love," "Wait For You," "You Go Your Way," "Midnight Cowboy," and I’m particularly excited about "Diet Pepsi" and its potential big jump next week. "Pocket" also sounds very interesting—I might even consider it for Rockmaker.

Refreshing music for a happy autumn. Take care in this new week!

Hey there Rockmaker!

I know, right? Time really is flying by, and yes "Dancing In The Flames" has held onto the #1 spot for a month now—it’s such a powerhouse track! As for "Dead Man," it’s definitely been a slow burner, but it’s really gaining momentum now, and I wouldn't be surprised if it takes the top spot next week. ClockClock's jump to #2 with "Someday Soon" came up the strength of their debut album and I totally agree, it’s got such an interesting vibe that pulls you in. Laura Pausini’s leap to #6 is incredible—it's so good to see her still delivering hit after hit with "Ciao."

Teddy Swims is absolutely blowing up this year and I think he's got such a unique style that makes every track feel special. I’m loving his return to the Top Ten too. "Stars Will Align" from Kygo and Imagine Dragons is such a banger, and seeing it hit the Top Ten so quickly shows just how good that collab is.

I’m so glad you’re enjoying tracks like "In Your Hands," "Black Nirvana," and "Up All Night"—they’ve got such different vibes but are all so solid in their own ways. And yes, it’s awesome to see "Indestructible" debut and "Didn’t I?" back in the Top 100—they’re just timeless. I’m excited to see where "Diet Pepsi" will go as well! It’s got that feel of a track ready for a big leap. And "Pocket" is definitely one to keep an eye on—I’d love to see it considered for Rockmaker.

Autumn really is a great time for some refreshing tunes. Thanks so much for the message, and here’s to another great week of music! Take care! :)

Ahoy, Sergej!

You weren't lying about 'Storie Brevi' time as the top being done. Its descent the past couple of weeks has been ACR-style!

'Dancing In The Flames' has truly picked up the slack though into the future and long may it continue. I also love the new peak for 'Dead Man' (just in time for Halloween!), 'All My Life', 'Bad Dreams', and 'Stars Will Align', and the new entries for 'Diet Pepsi', 'Eurostar', and 'Midnight Cowboy'. I love 'Heart Like Mine' getting a third week and a new peak, albeit still not cracking to top 90, I'm rooting for it to become a chart heater and slowly heat up in a nice long run.
Finally, nod to one of my records of 2024, 'Honey Boy', which sadly dropped out of your chart this week. 19 weeks and three of them in the top spot deserve a salute! 🫡

Great chart as always!

Ahoy Maxon!

Thanks for the kind words and for always keeping an eye on the charts! It’s true, 'Storie Brevi' had a strong run, but as we know, every great peak has its descent. That ACR-style drop was inevitable, but what a ride it was! 'Dancing In The Flames' really stepped up, and I’m excited to see how far it can go—definitely feels like a future classic. 'Dead Man' has perfect timing with Halloween vibes creeping up, doesn’t it? Glad you’re enjoying the climbs for 'All My Life,' 'Bad Dreams,' and 'Stars Will Align' too. They’ve all been growing steadily and could have long runs ahead.

'Heart Like Mine' is definitely a slow burner—fingers crossed it keeps climbing! Sometimes the ones that take a while to heat up end up staying the longest, so we’ll see. And yeah, 'Honey Boy' deserved that salute—19 weeks is no small feat, and it definitely left its mark. Big thanks for all the support!

Cheers to more great chart moments ahead!

Take care!
