My Top 40 - 02/05/2017

Chainsmokers' reach #1 with "Paris"; Ariana Grande, Fifty Shades Darker and Alessia Cara up.

The Chainsmokers' "Paris" reaches #1 on it's third week on the chart. It's the duo's third #1 in less than a year, following "Closer" featuring Halsey, and "Don't Let Me Down" which features Daya.

"Paris" dethrones last week's #1, "Be The One", which drops to #2, but Dua Lipa still gets to claim 3 more chart entries, including two collaborations which reach new peaks this week. "No Lie" is up to #4, while "Scared to Be Lonely" earns Greatest Gainer honors by jumping to #14. Sean Paul is also featured on "Rockabye" which drops a single spot to #7 but still has a bullet.

Ed Sheeran moves up to #3 with "Shape of You", while "I Got You" by Bebe Rexha drops two spots to #5. Both songs have spent a single week at #1 each.

Ariana Grande and Future continue to move up with "Everyday", which reaches a new #6 peak this week. Another track with a strong bullet is Alessia Cara's "Scars to Your Beautiful", which jumps ten spots to #9, nearly matching it's previous high point of #8.

Shakira is at #7 with "Chantaje"; the Maluma-assisted track peaked at #2. Former #1 "I Feel It Coming" is down to #10 this week.

"I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)" moves up to #11 this week. The track is from the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. It's ZAYN's second highest peaking song already as well. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, has visited top 10 and hit #1 multiple times already.

Below top 10, aside from "Scared to Be Lonely", "Run Up", by Major Lazer, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj also jumps over 20 spots into the top 20. No new songs debut this week, but Lady Gaga re-enters with a pair of Joanne tracks: "Million Reasons" and "A-YO". "Reasons" has peaked at #5 so far, while "A-YO" has gone as far as #38.

Greatest Gainer:

Martin Garrix, Dua Lipa - "Scared to be Lonely" (Up 37-14 this week)

Dropping this week:

Anne-Marie - "Alarm" (#32 Peak, 7 weeks on the chart)
MØ - "Final Song" (#2 Peak, 16 weeks on the chart)
