"Symphony" gets third week at #1, ties Ed Sheran, Dua Lipa and Katy Perry.
Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson spend a third week at #1 with "Symphony". In the process it ties for most weeks at #1 this year, with Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You", Katy Perry and Skip Marley's "Chained to the Rhythm" and most recently, Dua Lipa with "Be The One" spending the same amount of weeks at the top spot. The last song to spend more time atop the chart was The Weeknd and Daft Punk's "I Feel It Coming", with four, but three of those were during late 2016.
Kygo and Selena Gomez rebound to #2 with "It Ain't Me". The track has spent two weeks at the top. Imagine Dragons follow with "Believer", which recovers one spot to #3. These two tracks sideline Paramore's "Hard Times", which drops two to #4 on it's third week. Also down two is "The Cure", Lady Gaga's latest single.
Two former collaborators reach new peaks this week: Halsey moves up a single rung to #6 with "Now Or Never", her highest solo rank to date, while "Closer" pals The Chainsmokers move three spots up with "Bloodstream", to #7, after last week's #10 debut.
Alessia Cara and Zedd drop from their #6 peak to #8 with "Stay". It manages to hold off Ed Sheeran, who re-enters at #9 with "Galway Girl". The third single from his latest studio album dropped from the chart last week after reaching as high as #21 on an eight week run, but returns this week because of it's music video premiere.
Dua Lipa's aforementioned "Be The One" recovers two spots to #10 this week.
Aside from "Galway Girl", Linkin Park re-enter at #25 with "Heavy", their collaboration with Kiiara. Zara Larsson's "I Would Like" also returns, at #39, after reaching #17. The week's top debut is also the only one, as Chalire Puth takes "Attention" to #37.
Lorde's "Green Light" recovers from a dramatic drop in points on it's 11th week, and earns Greatest Gainer honors with a five-spot move to #27. The track is unlikely to match it's previous high of #2, which following a few weeks of healthy ranks turned into a dramatic drop-off.
