Billie Eilish Scores Her First Number One Ahead Of Roddy Ricch & The 1975
YEAR END TOP FORTY UPDATE- Confirmed: Me & You Together Song, Phone Numbers, Take What You Want & Circles
Should Be Confirmed Soon: The Box, Audacity
On The Brink: No Guidance
Missing Out: Good Things Fall Apart, Falling (dropout)
CHART REVIEW- As expected, Billie Eilish's Bond theme "No Time To Die" become's her first #1! Climbing 2-1, "NTTD" holds a comfortable margin over Roddy Ricch's "The Box" which climbs 5-2, perhaps aided by it's music video? Then, dropping from #1 after 5 non-consecutive weeks, The 1975's "Me & You Together Song" is next at #3, ahead of Dominic Fike & Kenny Beats' "Phone Numbers" & Stormzy & Headie One's "Audacity" dropping one place each. Both Coldplay's "Champion Of The World" & The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" leap-frog Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne & Travis Scott's "Take What You Want" which falls 6-8, amazing it's lowest positon since October 4th 2019. Next up @ #9 Future & Drake's "Life Is Good" continue's it's swift climb to enter the Top 10 for the first, 15-9. And astonishingly rounding up the Top 10, Dominic Fike's "3 Nights" returns to the Top 10, 12-10.
On the losers front, Hayley Williams' "Simmer" continues it's rollercoaster run to drop 9-14, Sam Fender's "Hold Out" continues its downward trend 13-21. The 1975's "The Birthday Party" actually manages to slow it's fall, 23-25. Olivia Rodrigo's "All I Want" begins to head towards leaving the chart 19-27. Mac Miller's "Good News" continues to strugle to find any major momentum 25-30. Both Illenium's "Good Things Fall Apart" & Post Malone's "Circles" head towards the conclusion of their lenghty chart runs, the former getting unfortunately caught between years. And finally, the JoBro's "Only Human" drops 29-35 in it's 14th week. None of the dropouts are a surprise. Trevor Daniel's "Falling" had been dropping quickly for a few weeks now, Travis Scott's "HIGHEST IN THE ROOM" has bounced in-and-out of the chart, but may have finally dropped out for good now, neither Eminem's "Darkness" & Aitch's "MICE" made any major impact, and AJ Tracey's "Ladbroke Grove" only just snuck back in last week.
This week's climbers & new entries are dominated by Lil Uzi Vert & his albulm "Eternal Attake". "Futsal Shuffle 2020"'s series of falls is broken momentarily, rebounding 26-20. And the New Entries are as follows- "That Way" @ #29, "Homecoming" #37 & "Lo Mein" #40. It's entierly possible that none of the songs will stick around. The other big gainer is the Black Eyed Peas. who collaboration with J Balvin "RITMO" climbs from 30 to a new peak of 23. This week's other new entries are Marren Morris' "The Bones" @ #28 and Aitch, AJ Tracey & Aitch's "Rain" @ #36
See you next week!
