These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!
Congratulations to MGK and Camila Cabello's Bad Things, which gets its 14th week at #1 to equal the record (since I changed from Top 20 to 40 in October 2015) set by Fifth Harmony and Fetty Wap's All In My Head (Flex)! But will it get a 15th and break the record?
Elsewhere, So Good gets its 8th consecutive week at #2, passing Sex which got 7 weeks (but also spent 9 weeks at #1). All records are from the Top 40 era, as previously the top 5 was very static (you make think the top is static now but in 2014 the top 4/5 stayed the same for months on end). Shed A Light gets its 12th consecutive week in the Top 3, its 19th in the Top 40 overall (with 9 weeks at #3 and 3 at #2). Kygo and Selena Gomez stay at #4 for a 6th consecutive week with It Ain't Me. They are now only behind Nothing Like This with 7 weeks (peak #2), and The Hills which got 8 weeks at #4 (also peak #2). Also, Clean Bandit get their 3rd week at #5 (it's their first Top 5 hit but Zara's 4th). And No Promises enters at #6, becoming Cheat Codes' fourth Top 6 hit from four songs. This WILL climb though. Also, Hailee Steinfeld gets her 30th week in the Top 40 with Starving, 29 of those Top 7 and 8 at #1.
Outside the Top 10, Zara's I Would Like falls to #11, having spent 20 weeks in the Top 10 region previously. It was #1 in the first week of 2017, the only week this year Bad Things hasn't been at #1. And Fifth Harmony get their 37th week in the Top 40, falling to a new lowest of #13, but keeping their joint record of weeks at #1.
Lower down, there are climbers for Martin Solveig, Chris Brown, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, David Guetta (all of which reach new peaks) and more, and first solo appearances for Disciples and Harry Styles. Harry had a few appearances while in One Direction, and Disciples' only previous appearance was on Calvin Harris' #2-peaking How Deep Is Your Love.
I hope you enjoyed this bit of trivia, and liked my chart! :D
These are some breakers that will enter high if they reach the chart:

That's a shame that 'That's What I Like' has probably peaked on your chart, but it's still awesome that it reached as high as #12!
Regarding 'On My Mind', it's not terrible, but I just find it boring & the drop is nothing interesting in my opinion.
Fair enough. You'll be pleased to know that 'No Promises' could be the biggest climber of the week again!
Hey Calum!
Great charts, I think Bad Things will break your record, because it's dominating your charts right now!
Also I'm not going to rank your new entries, I like all of your new entries, especially On My Mind, it's a catchy dance song and it gets better with every listen.
And one last thing, I might upload my charts earlier this week because of family health issues, it's a long story.
Anyways, have a wonderful week and see you soon!
Hey Sergej, thanks for the comment! yeah, On My Mind is great! itll certainly climb into the Top 20 in the next couple of weeks and should peak in the 15-17 region. :) yeah that's fine if u upload early! just tell me when u do :) ill probably put up my next chart on like Tuesday and Wednesday, bcos I STILL haven't caught up from when I didn't do one for a couple of weeks in March :/ have a good week! and im sorry for your family health issues :(
Hey Calum! I hope you've had a good weekend. :)
Nice chart from you as usual! I'm pleased to see 'That's What I Like' continue to climb. Hopefully it can reach your Top 10 eventually!
Here's my rating of your debuts this week: 'No Promises' (8/10), 'On My Mind' (4/10) & 'Sign Of The Times' (9/10).
My personal chart should be up at around 9-10pm tonight, so hopefully you get to check that out later or tomorrow!
