Chart

Calum PK7's Official Top 40!!

These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!

This week, Camila Cabello gets a month at #1 with Never Be The Same in the first chart of 2018. All five of her chart-toppers, including while in Fifth Harmony, have spent at least a month at the top. Her former #1 Havana returns to the top 4, and Stargazing, Man's Not Hot, No More, Barking and Breathe reach new peaks in the top 10.

Eminem and Ed Sheeran climb six to #15 with River, and Dave and MoStack reach the top 20 for the first time at #19 with No Words. This week sees many re-entries and climbs for some of 2017's biggest hits, CNCO & Little Mix's gain of 11 with Reggaeton Lento this week's highest.

Not3s has this week's highest re-entry at #27, and Snakehips and Mo are the re-entry with the longest time spent off the chart at #29. Their track Don't Leave last appeared on my chart back on May 5 of last year! G-Eazy & Halsey re-enter at #30 with Him & I, reaching a new peak in the process, and J Hus enters at #34 with Bouff Daddy, the only new entry of the week. This is in my opinion his best track to date, so should climb in the coming weeks. And the final four re-entries were all big hits in 2017: Robin Schulz & David Guetta featuring Cheat Codes' Shed A Light at #36, The Vamps and Martin Jensen's Middle Of The Night at #37, Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam's Sex at #38 and Yungen and Yxng Bane's Bestie at #40.

It is amazing that we enter 2018 with three songs released in 2016 in the chart in Bad Things, Shed A Light and Sex! It will be interesting to see how long they stick around for in the new year... happy new year everyone! :D

Hey Calum! This is another really good chart from you. :)
I love seeing Camila have two songs inside the Top 5 (same as in my chart), but I also like that 'Breathe' hit the Top 10 as well!
All of the re-entries are fine except for 'Don't Leave' & I don't mind seeing 'Bouff Daddy' as the only debut of the week either.
Hopefully you can check my new chart out soon, as I uploaded it on Saturday night!
See you soon & enjoy the coming week.

Hey Piran, thanks for the comment! yeah well this week, obviously the first of the new year, I listened to my year-end chart on Spotify quite a bit which explains the re-entries for some older songs! yeah, ill get over to your chart right now! :)

Hey Calum! Great chart. It's really incredible that every #1 song from Camila has been at the top for at least a month, it's quite a feat. She looks like a top dog on your chart as well :). It's great to see "Wolves" at #2, I really like the song! Marshmello is using Selena's vocals really well! Fantastic to see "Havana" and "Stargazing" in the Top 5 as well. I think that both songs are great and I'm happy to see them at the top! I'm also pleased to see "River" climbing as Eminem is my second favorite rapper and also one of the most influential people on me as I grew up. "River" is definitely a great song (I think that it's better than "Walk On Water") and a light in today's rap. Thanks, Em. It's incredible to see "Bad Things" and "Shed A Light" still charting too, but I'm not surprised knowing that songs have quite a longevity on your charts, something that we share in common :) Other songs I'm happy to see charting: "Anywhere", "Without You", "Lonely Together", "rockstar" "Echame La Culpa", "What Lovers Do", "Perfect", "I Miss You" and more!! My chart is up, check it up if you have time, I'd really appreciate it :) I wish you a great week mate and I can't wait to hear from you soon!

Hey RandomGuy, thanks for the comment! yeah, Camila was my favourite artist in 2017 definitely, and I really look forward to her album release this Friday! River had to grow on me, but I really like it now and it has a chance of climbing further! yeah, Bad Things and Shed A Light did amazingly for me last year and are likely to be my top 2 on my year-end chart when I finish it (not sure yet just guessing)! both did drop out for a bit to make way for the Christmas songs, but came back as I listened to all 2017's biggest hits in the new year! of course I will get over to your chart now! :)

Hey Calum! Great to see 'Never Be The Same' get another week at #1 and keep the tradition of Camila's #1s on your chart getting at least a month at the top!
I'm also loving a lot of the re-entries and high climbers this week, especially 'Breathe', 'River', 'My Lover' and 'Him & I'. Also, in just 3 more weeks 'Bad Things' will've spent an entire year on your chart! Sadly it wasn't all consecutive, but it's still incredibly impressive nonetheless.
It's really cool to see 3 songs released in 2016 still on your chart on the first chart of 2018, but I don't think you can match my chart. On my most recent chart there were 2 songs released in 2014 and 1 song released in 2016 in my Top 10, and a further 6 songs released in 2016 or before in the rest of my Top 40!

Hey Gameskiller! yeah, Camila always spends a while at the top but NBTS may be one of her longest! (although I doubt 15 weeks is anywhere near beatable)
actually, Bad Things entered one week before I started crownnote, so has only two more weeks before hitting a whole year! I haven't had many songs hit a year on the chart lately, but I always knew Bad Things would! I know Sex did it last year, and I think AIMH (Flex) might've too. and then other tracks like IKWYDLS, WFH, Starving, Let Me Hold You and more came very close. We do know one thing though - that Shed A Light has hit a year on the chart! I'm not 100% sure when it hit 52 weeks given it was out pretty much all of December, but given it came out in November 2016 it must have a year now! :D
