Calum PK7's Official Top 40!!

These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!

This week is Camila Cabello's sixth at #1 with Never Be The Same, in a week she holds the entire top 3 following her album release. At #2 is Camila's She Loves Control, the only album track eligible. Although it will find it difficult to overtake NBTS, it will certainly be a contender for #1 over the coming weeks. And at #3 is Camila's Havana, completing her top 3 takeover.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Liam Payne and Rita Ora's For You climbs four places to #10. Zac Efron and Zendaya climb two to #11 with Rewrite The Stars, and J Hus' Bouff Daddy climbs six to #13. But this week's highest new entry is from Bruno Mars and Cardi B, who climb 15 places to #15 with Finesse.

There are climbs for Not3s, Justin Timberlake and Steel Banglez, and two more debuts. The first of these is BBC Sound Of Music 2018 winner Sigrid, who enters at #28 with Strangers - expect this to climb over the next few weeks. Although i preferred her summer track Plot Twist, this is a great track too! And the final debut comes from Dua Lipa, who enters at #31 with new single IDGAF. There is also a re-entry for Jason Derulo and French Montana's Tip Toe.

By the way everyone, it says Bad is a new entry because there was too many songs with that name and I couldn't find the one I used last week and didn't know how to find it so just created another one. Anyone know how I can find it next time?

If you go to music, then songs and search for Steel Banglez's Bad, you'll find various versions of "Bad", pick one with the highest points, then go to it and copy the edit number, or you can just do this, when you want to edit: Bad (72969).
Hope you'll find this helpful Calum!

What Sergej said, basically. Instead of searching for the song, you have to input "Bad (72969)" because there are too many songs with that name. I've had to do this for all of the weeks 'Bad' has been in my chart as well, and it is slightly annoying. You'll also have to go back and edit this chart and last week's chart to make sure that all of your charts are using the same version. Just replace whatever number is after 'Bad' in your charts now with 72969.

Hey Gameskiller, thanks for the help! editing a chart wont delete comments or anything will it?

No, you're fine to edit a chart whenever you want. It doesn't delete comments or do anything other than what you edited it for.

Hey Calum! Another fantastic chart. I really love it :) It's great to see that Camila dominates, following her album release. I think that holding the Top 3 spots simultaneously is really fascinating, something that even The Chainsmokers couldn't do on my chart last year. If I had to pick one of those 3 songs on the Top, I'd go with 'Havana'! My favorite song in the Top 5 is 'Wolves', which I am really big fan of! I also really love "Stargazing" at 5. It's great to see them so high because they are charting quite well for myself! The only other song I like inside your Top 10 is "For You", but that's only because I haven't heard other songs. I love the big jump by Bruno and Cardi B and I hope they can eventually make your Top 10, if not higher! Some of the other songs I love on your chart: "Let You Down", "River", "Anywhere", "Filthy", "What Lovers Do", "I Miss You", "Bad Things", "Without You", "Echame La Culpa". Also, it's amazing that "Bad Things" has 51 weeks so far on your chart! I wonder can it get to 60 :)

Hey RandomGuy! well, if you think holding the top 3 is amazing, you would've been shocked if every song on Camila's album was eligible! she would've had 9 of the top 10! Wolves was a former #1 for me and I still love the song, but Stargazing, despite never being a #1 challenger, has had a strange sort of longevity where it has stayed at the same performance level for so long. it came out 16 weeks ago at the same time as Heavy, which initially did better, but while Heavy gradually fell, Stargazing managed to keep a high level of performance so has now become a big top 5 hit! I'm not sure if Finesse could reach top 10, but it could have a chance! well, I did charts before Crownnote, and Bad Things was released one week before I started here, so it now has in fact 52 weeks - a full year! could it reach 60? I'm not sure, but a whole year is still amazing! Shed A Light hit a year on the chart last year, and now Bad Things has too! have you had songs hit a year on your chart? :)

Woooow! :D. 9 out of 10 is something else! You love Camila that much?! "Stargazing" longevity is definitely fascinating! I definitely feel you on that one, as many songs have incredible longevity on my charts! A full year?! There are so many unbelievable things that I've read so far in your comment hahaha! Are "Shed A Light" and "Bad Things" the only songs that have reached a full year on your chart? I remember that "Bad Things" was #1 for 16 weeks, and that's amazing as well! My longest #1 is "Mama" which led for nine weeks. Though, I have my personal charts for only one year! I haven't had songs that have hit a year on my charts yet - but that's only because my chart is only 39 weeks old! However, if I didn't take a 3 months hiatus from Crownnote (I regret that so much!), "Closer" would have a full-year on my chart as well! "Something Just Like This" as well! "Closer" has charted on every single chart I've made though!

Yeah, Camila is my favourite artist for sure! she had all top 10 for Gameskiller though lol that's even better! well, ive had more songs hit a year in the past two or three years, like Sex by Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam, All In My Head (Flex) by 5H and Fetty Wap and I think Pia Mia, Chris Brown & Tyga's Do It Again. I don't really count my charts pre-2015 as they were literally the same every week, but since then I think its just those 5! but ive had songs like Starving, Let Me Hold You, IKWYDLS and Work From Home come very close though! I started doing charts in 2013, but it was just top 10 then, in 2014 I made it 20, then late 2015 I made it 40! and I only really count my charts from when I made it 40. :)

Hey Calum! Very good chart once again. :)
I'm not surprised in the slightest that Camila is occupying all of your Top 3. Would she have got every song in your Top 10 if you could allow any song to chart, not just the ones that are in the Official Charts Top 40 or Vodafone Big Top 40?
Elsewhere, it's awesome that 'For You' hit the Top 10 & that 'Rewrite The Stars' is coming close to that region!
The best part of your chart though is seeing 'Finesse' as the biggest climber of the week & I like all of the re-entries & debuts this week, so they could make my chart soon too.
Speaking of which, my new chart is up now, so I hope you can check it out!
Have an enjoyable Saturday night mate.

Hey Piran, thanks for the comment! well, id say Camila would've had 9 of the top 10 if every song could chart, the one missing out would probably be Something's Gotta Give. And the only non-Camila track would be my other breaker Stay Young by Mike Perry and Tessa.
For You should definitely climb further, and Rewrite The Stars has a chance of reaching top 10 but may remain stationary at #11 for now. Finesse should climb again next week and possibly challenge for top 10 too, and ill get over to your chart in a moment! :)

Hello Calum!
Great to see Camila in your Top 3!
I'm very happy to see "Finesse" gaining big!
And for your debuts, I like all of them!
Great chart overall!

Hey Sergej, thanks for the comment! yeah, Camila having the whole top 3 was inevitable - she would've had 9 of the top 10 if possible! Finesse should climb further, and I'm glad you liked all my debuts! hope you have a good week! :)

Hey Calum! Obviously I love seeing Camila take up all of the Top 3, though I'm not particularly surprised. :D I bet you were really glad when 'She Loves Control' just managed to sneak into the Top 40 on Friday just so that it could debut on your chart.
Elsewhere, I'm really glad to see 'For You' hit the Top 10, as well as the climbs for 'Bouff Daddy', 'Finesse', 'My Lover' and 'Bad'. It's also great to see 'IDGAF' debut. I wasn't really a fan of the song when I first heard it, but after listening to 'Dua Lipa' for the first time since then it's really grown on me. It hasn't made it onto my chart yet, but I think that it's got a good chance of doing so!
I also love seeing 'Bad Things' reach a whole year on your chart. I've only been doing charts for 36 weeks, so no song's been able to get there yet, but I think that 'Bloodstream' has a good chance of doing so. It's been on every single one of my 36 charts, and is incredibly steady for me in terms of performance, the only thing making 'Bloodstream' change place on my chart is the performance of songs around it. 'Havana' also has a pretty good chance since it's spent all of the 22 weeks it's been on my chart in the Top 10.

Hey Gameskiller, thanks for the comment! yeah, I was so happy when She Loves Control just managed to hit the top 40! all the climbers you mentioned should climb further, although I'm waiting patiently for My Lover (Remix) to hit the Big Top 40 so I can replace the original with that! because OCC still haven't credited Mabel although nearly all the song's popularity is from the remix, and ive been charting the original using performance from both versions lately.
well, I tend to have lots of songs hit 45 weeks +, but not many actually manage to hit the year mark! Sex did it (by some margin - it got like 65 weeks), Shed A Light did it last week before dropping out and now Bad Things has done it!
I'm not sure if any track currently on the chart will hit a year, but if I had to say what would be most likely to id say Havana or NBTS! Know No Better has stayed on longer so far and is still doing well, but its chances depend on how long it sticks top 25 tbh, because once a song goes below there it tends to fall much faster.

Yeah, a lot of songs start to fall faster after they drop out of the Top 25 on my chart as well. 'Bloodstream' just managed to avoid this happening to it since it dropped to #30, but then the next week I listened to a lot of song by Ed Sheeran, especially ones on 'x', which caused 'Bloodstream' to blast back into the Top 10.

Hey Calum, great chart once again! Sorry I haven't commented on your last ones I was on my trip and I was busy later on so I couldn't. But moving on I love seeing 'NBTS' at #1! Also great to see 'She Loves Control' at #2 and 'Havana' at #3! From your gainers I love seeing : 'For You' and 'Finesse (Remix)'. I also love seeing : Breathe and All The Stars! Rating your new entries : She Loves Control (10/10), Strangers (7/10), IDGAF (10/10). Great chart as always! I just posted a new one, hopefully you check it out! See ya!

Hey Tom, thanks for the comment! so what did you think of 'Camila'? did she have a massive effect on your charts too? I cant wait to check it out in a second! :)

I like seeing "Havana" and "Wolves" in your top 10. Other that, it's nice to see "Let You Down", "Finesse", "Filthy", "What Lovers Do", "I Miss You", "Bad Things", and "Him & I". (I gotta play "Tip Toe" again.)

Hey Mr McCloud! Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like those songs in my chart, as most of them should stick around for a while! :)

Hey Calum! Great chart again! It's so cool we share 2 songs in our top 10s. I love or like every song in your top 10, except for She Loves Control (but wait, that's because I haven't listened to it yet!). I like to listen to new albums very slowly (I haven't fully listened to Starboy, Divide or Reputation yet!). The only unreleased tracks I've heard from Camila are Consequences and Into It. The former would be a 4/10 and the latter a 7/10. Elsewhere it's good to see Filthy and Finesse reaching new peaks and IDGAF and Strangers debuting. Hope you can check my chart soon!

Hey Ines, thanks for the comment! well that's an interesting technique for listening to new albums! how long do you think it will be before you've heard all of 'Camila'? :)
ill look at your chart now! :)

Oh since Camila is a relatively short album and I already listened to 6 tracks out of its 11, maybe in 3 months I'm done with it. My main reason for doing it is that I want to enjoy songs at the time they are released at singles, so I usually pick the songs which seem to be less likely to become singles first. As I know She Loves Control is probably the next single, I'm not listening to it until she properly releases it, so I won't be indifferent to it at the time! Weird but makes sense, I guess lol.

well that's fair enough I guess! :) so what are the songs from Camila you haven't heard yet?
