These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!
This week, Camila Cabello stays at #1 with Never Be The Same, and is now only one week away from equalling her own record. I never thought the record was beatable, but it looks as if NBTS could well do it. It just hasn't seemed to lose much performance while everything else around it has been, but the lack of top-quality new songs is part of it too.
The track likely to be her biggest challenger over the coming weeks is the track at #5 this week, Lil Dicky & Chris Brown's Feaky Friday. I find the song not only funny but also just a really good track; I've always liked Chris Brown's voice and he's had some big hits for me in the past, and it's the first i've heard Lil Dicky but i enjoy his parts just as much. Then of course there's the Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled & Kendall Jenner parts at the end which get me every time! ;)
There are three other climbers in the top 10: Post Malone's Psycho at #7, MoStack's What I Wanna at #8 and Sean Paul's Mad Love at #9. All three should stick in the top 10 for a while, and are some of the only real quality debuts in a couple of pretty boring months music-wise.
Sigala & Paloma Faith also reach a new peak with Lullaby, and this week's highest climber is Charlie Puth's latest single at #15, Done For Me with Kehlani. I haven't even heard this five times yet so it should grow on me more and challenge for a top 10 position in the coming weeks. David Guetta and Sia's latest collaboration Flames is at #16, and, unsurprisingly after the double act's previous collabs, is another great track.
Yungen and Jess Glynne climb seven to #17, and Shawn Mendes' comeback single In My Blood debuts at #20. BlocBoy JB climb back to their peak position, and there are further debuts for Yxng Bane, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes once again.

Hey Gameskiller! I'm so glad you like everything in my top 10! I have to say the releases in the last few weeks have been better than the few weeks before, but there still isn't enough for my liking eligible to enter my chart. Like we're seeing like 3 or 4 songs enter the occ top 40 a week, giving me such little choice, and the new Big Top 40 rules mean only the biggest debuts usually get in the chart, not just well-downloaded tracks.
I'm also really glad you like all my debuts this week! most of them should climb, and all will stick around for a bit! speak to you soon! :)
Hey Calum! Great to see 'Never Be The Same' stay at #1 yet again, and that it's looking to have a really strong chance of beating the record! I also wouldn't mind seeing anything in your Top 10 at the moment go to #1.
It's really great to see 'Freaky Friday', 'Psycho', 'What I Wanna' and 'Mad Love' all climb inside your Top 10, and seeing 'Lullaby', 'Done For Me', and 'Mind On It' makes climbs towards the region as well! The top 20 debuts for 'Flames' and 'In My Blood' are great, and I love the debuts for 'Vroom', 'Call Out My Name', and 'Lost In Japan' a bit further down.
I'd rate your debuts this week: 'Flames' (82/100), 'In My Blood' (87/100), 'Vroom' (78/100), 'Call Out My Name' (98/100), and 'Lost In Japan' (93/100).
I really like your chart this week! It'd be great to see 'Never Be The Same' beat the record, but I'd also love to see a lot of the songs on your chart at #1! Speak to you soon! :D
