Top Songs [11.16.2017]

This week, we get our first non-debut Number One since 'If I Could Find' hit Number One (after debuting and staying at #3 for 3 straight weeks) about a month and a half ago. 'Needed You' finally reaches the top spot in it's 7th week on the chart - it trails only 'All I Can Think About Is You' for the longest time to reach Number One from a song's chart debut. 'All I Can Think About Is You' reached Number One in it's 8th week on the chart. 'Needed You' finally reaches the top spot after debuting and peaking at #2. It also marks the first Number One song for Illenium, who has, so far, 3 Top 10 songs: 'Feel Good' (#10), 'Sound of Walking Away' (#4), and of course, 'Needed Me' (#1). This week marks the 6th week 'Needed Me' spends in the Top 10 as well as the 4th week it spends in the Top 5.

Last week's Number One debut 'No Peace' slides one spot to #2, while 'Little Lies' jumps 2 spots to #3, it's best chart showing since it debuted at #1 4 weeks ago. 'Pray' prays itself to a new spot, jumping 6 spots to #4. This would mark the 3rd time 'Pray' has spent two weeks at any one chart position: It had previously spent 2 weeks each at #2 and #10, and has thus far spent all 6 of it's weeks in the Top 10. 'Heading Home' returns back 'home' to the Top 10 after 2 weeks away, jumping 6 spots to #5. 'Baby, You Make Me Crazy' falls 3 spots to #6, 'Silence' returns to the Top 10 after one week of silence away, jumping 9 spots to #7. 'Innerbloom' blooms back to the Top 10, also jumping 9 spots to #8. 'Midnight Train' departs the Top 5, sliding 7 spots from it's debut spot at #2 to #9 this week. To round up the Top 10, 'Get Free' jumps 3 spots to #10. Just below the Top 10, 'Keep Cool' reaches a new peak at #11, looking set to breach the Top 10 for the first time soon. 

"Burning Out' manages to be the only song this week to break/affect a chart record: The song spends it's 18th week on the chart, joining 'Hello' in 3rd place for the record for most total weeks on the chart. 'Endorphins' still holds this record with 22 weeks, followed by 'All I Can Think About Is You' with a very-close 21 weeks. Speaking of 'All I Can Think About Is You', the massive hit, for the first time in 21 weeks since it debuted, doesn't appear on the chart. As such, it ends it historically massive 21 consecutive weeks it has spent on the chart. Amazing. 

Over on the Leaderboard, 'Endorphins' still maintains it's spot atop the chart for 2017. 'A L I E N S' is 2nd and 'All I Can Think About Is You' remains at #3. Only a little more than 3,000 points separate 'Endorphins' and 'All I Can Think About Is You', showing how tight the top 3 spots are, as we go into the last weeks of the year. 'Sober' remains at #4, 'Burning Out' at #5, and 'Middle' at #6. 'Innerbloom' moves up to #7, an amazing feat for a song that has spent only 10 weeks on the chart so far (other Top 10 songs have spent at least 14 weeks). 'Green Light' slides to #8, followed by 'Let You Go' at #9, and finally, 'Hello' at #10.
