Top Songs [7.20.2017]

This week, we get yet another new Number One: Coldplay holds onto the top spot with 'Miracles (Someone Special), which debuts at Number One. 'Miracles' replaces last week's Number One 'A L I E N S' also by Coldplay, which falls one spot to #2. This gives Coldplay both their third week at Number One as well as their third Number One song. They had previously hit Number One with 'Hypnotised' in addition to 'A L I E N S' and 'Miracles'. For most weeks at #1, Coldplay joins Sub Focus in the runner-up spot, while for most songs at #1, Coldplay has the runner-up spot all to itself. Lorde tops both records with 4 songs and 4 weeks respectively. Also, Coldplay and Lorde remain the only artists with more than one song to have topped the chart. 

Cee Lo Green doubles up in the top 5 debuting 2 songs at #3 and #4: 'Satisfied' and 'Cry Baby' respectively. 'All I Can Think About Is You' jumps 14 spots to #5 after peaking at #3. This gives Coldplay 3 songs in the top 5 this week, second only to Lorde's record 4 songs in the Top 5. 'Buscando Huellas' falls 2 spots to #6, while 'Sober' falls 5 spots to #7. This week marks the first week 'Sober' spends outside the top 5 (specifically, the top 3), spending 5 weeks there since it's debut. 'Sober' holds the runner-up spot for most weeks in the Top 5 along with 'Green Light', with 'Endorphins' holding the record with 7 weeks. 'Sober' has also spent all it's 6 chart weeks so far in the Top 10. It holds the third place for this record with 'Endorphins holding the record with 9 weeks, and 'Green Light' in the runner-up spot with 7 weeks. 'Malibu' drops 3 spots to #8, spending it's 6th week in the top 10. It joins 'Sober' in the third place spot for most weeks in the Top 10. 'The Little Things' returns to the top 10 after almost 2 months, moving 3 spots to #10. It previously peaked at #2. It also joins 'Sober' and 'Malibu' having spent 6 weeks in the Top 10 of the chart so far. 

Below the Top 10, 'Reality' falls 3 spots to #13, leaving the top 10 for the first time since it's debut (debuted and peaked at #2). 'Set Fire to the Rain' reaches a new peak position of #16, after previously peaking at #29 for 2 weeks. 

Now for some extra records: 'Endorphins moves 16 spots to #33, marking it's 15th(!!) weeks on the chart. Thus, it extends it's own record of most weeks on the chart. 'Green Light' and 'Company' remain at the runner-up spot with 12 weeks each, and 'Secrets' at the third place with 11 weeks. 'Hello' (#37) joins 'Secrets' with 11 weeks on the chart this week. 'Burning Out' falls 24 spots to #27, leaving the Top 20 for the first time since it's debut. However, there's cause to celebrate as it spends it's 10th week on the chart, but more importantly, it's 10th CONSECUTIVE week on the chart. As such, it now holds the record for most consecutive weeks on the chart, beating 'Shed A Light' which broke it's string of consecutive weeks last week, peaking at 9 weeks. "Shed A Light' is joined by 'Endorphins' at the runner-up spot, as it spends a 9th week on the chart this week. 'The Little Things' comes after those with 7 consecutive weeks.
