The Weeknd get's 2nd Week at Number 1, with a big lead at the top; Louis Tomlinson debuts strongly at Number 2, ahead of album release; Celeste and Lewis Capaldi climb into the Top 5.

CHART INFO AND NEXT WEEKS TEASERS

  • The Weeknd holds onto the Number 1 single this week, to make it 2 weeks with "Blinding Lights", as he beats rival Louis Tomlinson by a impressive difference of 67 Combined Points. This is the most ahead a single at Number 1 has been since "The Last Time" on the Halloween Chart on 1st November 2019.
  • Louis Tomlinson enters strongly this week at Number 2 with the album lead single "Walls" (The Album "Walls" is out on 31st January 2020). This is Louis's 3rd Top 3 single as a solo artist, Others being (Miss You, 2017) and (Two Of Us, 2019). I expect big things for the singles on the album, particularly this single "Walls" in the next few weeks. Louis will also be the first artist formely in One Direction to have 3 Solo Number 1's if one of the album tracks hits Number 1.
  • Celeste's single "Stop This Flame" is proving to be a massive hit on the Personal Chart, currently at Number 3. considering this single hasn't even got much in the public eye yet, I expect big things for this song on the Personal Chart, around the time of the Brits 2020, when Celeste is due to perform on the big night!
  • Lewis Capaldi get's his 5th Top 5 single on the Personal Chart this week with "Let It Roll" at Number 5 this week. Even though this song has not been released officially yet, this song is proving to be a contendor for one of Lewis's biggest hits on the Personal Chart.
  • Olvia Rodrigo climbs a respectable 9 places this week to Number 8 this week. This song is also proving why 2020 may be the most diverse year for the Personal Charts. This week's chart has anything from Synth to Soul to R'n'B to Dance and of course Musical hits!
  • Outside of the Top 20, we have a massive trend setter song in the name of "You Should Be Sad" by Halsey, which i'm sure will be huge in weeks to come on the Personal Chart.

  • Next week's chart could see a number of singles from The latest Pet Shop Boys album, We could see singles from the like of Joel Corry and Hayley Williams. This week was particularly quiet for singles, however it will be all about the big climbers next week, e.g. Halsey, Train ft. Skylar Grey for example.
