Chart 16.6.23

Its been a close battle all week between two artists both fighting to get themselves a 3rd #1 single, but in the end Baby Queen comes out victorious with 'Dream Girl' debuting at the top spot. Dermot Kennedy has to settle for #2 with Sonder deluxe track 'Don't Forget Me'. At 3 we have the biggest climber of the week, up a massive 46 places to become her first top 10 hit, Cate with 'Girlfriend'. Its technically not her first time in the top 5 either, as she is the titular person behind Maisie Peters' smash #1 hit 'Cate's Brother'! but it is her first time in the region as an artist. Lana Del Rey & Rob Grant climb 1 spot to #4 with 'Lost At Sea', and his album of the same name also charts at #4 on the albums chart! 'Hits Different' is at #5.

Elsewhere in the chart, Kylie Minogue has a big entry at #15 with 'Padam Padam'. Her viral track belatedly enters after growing on me massively this weekend! Its her 3rd Top 15 hit after 2 Years & Years collabs made the region, and its her highest charting solo single since  her cover of 'Marry The Night' made #24 in 2021! Eurovision star Alessandra's new hit 'Pretty Devil' becomes her first top 20 at #20, Rob Grant & Lana's 2nd collab 'Hollywood Bowl' debuts at #21 and a big dance collab from Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson '0800 HEAVEN' is another new one at #30. There is also a new one from PinkPantheress. 'Angel' from the new Barbie movie soundtrack is new at #32, and Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' is back at #50 since its been a year since its massive resurgance thanks to Stranger Things!

Hi Conor!

Nice to see "Don’t Forget Me" debut in the top 3 and the debuts for "Pretty Devil" and "0800 HEAVEN".

Great chart overall!
Take care!

Hi Conor,

Some great debuts this week with Dermot Kennedy and Kylie Minogue being the highlights!

So glad to see Taylor accumulating more weeks on the chart from two albums!

Great chart!

Hey Conor! :)

Glad to see debuts for 'Don't Forget Me', 'Padam Padam', 'Pretty Devil', '0800 Heaven' & 'Angel'.

I'm also liking the re-entry for 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)' following its one year anniversary of dominating the UK charts!

Good chart yet again.

Take care!
