Chart

Top 20

"Savior" rescues Iggy Azalea's career, "Best Friend" starts big, Rudimental soars.

Chart Champion

After a series of underperforming releases, Iggy Azalea is back at the top of her game; "Savior", featuring Quavo sits at the chart summit. Azalea has not entered the chart in years so it is a big deal for her to return to music and debut at number 1. As for Quavo, this is his first chart-topper; he previously peaked at #5 on Liam Payne's "Strip That Down" in May. "Savior" is also the first time a rap artist has sat at the top of the chart since "Havana" by Camila Cabello featuring Young Thug in August. This is also the first time a rapper has had a #1, as a lead artist, since G-Eazy's "Good Life". "Savior" is also the third song to end the reign of "Wolves" by Selena Gomez and Marshmello throughout its non-consecutive 12 weeks at the top.

New Peaks

Jumping 15 spots to a new peak of #5, "These Days" by Rudimental, Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen is this week's biggest climber. The song started at #20 last week and is already a top 5 hit after its second week. "These Days" is this week's only climber and the lone song to reach a new peak.

New Entries

"Best Friend" by Sofi Tukker featuring NERVO, The Knocks and Alisa Ueno is this week's biggest new entry, other than "Savior". "Best Friend" starts at #2 and is the first chart entry for all artists on the track.

Re-entries

This week, there were 9 re-entires. The highest came from Clean Bandit and Julia Michaels with "I Miss You"; the song re-entered at #4, matching the position it previously peaked at in December. The song has now notched up 8 weeks on the chart. "Get on Your Knees" by Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande once again randomly enters the chart at #7. Is it 2015? Selena Gomez's "Hands To Myself" is back at #9. It has now spent 5 weeks on the chart, reaching 'hit' status. "Hands To Myself" also appeared on the chart this time last year, a chart first.  "Havana" by Camila Cabello and Young Thug is also back at #10. This is the song's 18th week on the chart.

Dua Lipa's "IDGAF" returns to the chart at #11, the song previously peaked at #10 in August. Now it is getting the single treatment, expect "IDGAF" to continue to climb. Selena Gomez and Kygo's mega-smash "It Ain't Me" is back at #12. The song now holds the record for the most amount of weeks spent on the chart - 34. Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" is also back at Swift's favourite number, #13. The song has now spent 19 weeks charting, a week away from its next certification. "Sorry Not Sorry" by Demi Lovato reaches 'megahit' status as it re-enters at #15 and has now spent 20 weeks on the chart. Swift's "King of My Heart" is also a returner at #19, the song's 3rd non-consecutive week.

Inside the Top 10

"Wolves" by Selena Gomez and Marshmello drops 2 spots to #3, its lowest position yet after 16 weeks on the chart. "Wolves" may have finished its record-breaking run at the top but it will now attempt to become the chart's longest running song (18 weeks to go!). "Dance" by DNCE slides 4 places to #6 in its second week. After breaking a chart record last week, "Good as Hell" by Lizzo moves 5 places further down the chart. It is now at #8 and has spent 11 weeks on the chart.

Outside the Top 10

"One Foot" by WALK THE MOON drops 5 spots to #14. It is not all bad news for WALK THE MOON though as "One Foot" has spent 5 weeks on the chart, certifying it as a hit. "This is Me" by Keala Settle falls 6 places to #16. The song has now spent 4 weeks charting. Sigrid's "Strangers" moves 16-17 in its second week. This week's biggest faller is "End Game" by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Future; the song dives 14 places down the chart to #18. It has spent 11 weeks charting. Finally, Camila Cabello's "Never Be the Same" drops from 18 to 20 this week and has charted for 9 weeks.
