Faves of the Week: Dec 25, 2020

What a year it has been! The greatest winner on this chart during these 366 days has been Doja Cat, whose Say So has become the top song of 2020. Other songs of her have also charted high (Like That featuring Gucci Mane was #1 and Boss Bitch was #2).

But (probably) the second biggest artist has emerged in the last weeks: Ghouljaboy has managed to chart eight songs in the span of six weeks, and all of them remain on this week's chart. The #1 song is his for the fifth consecutive week; while los chicos regresan キッズ・リターン was the top contender for three weeks, now velada en hotel de costa nº7 ホテルの音楽 extends its reign for a second week. Ghouljaboy has four of the top five songs this week.

The only track from another artist sits at #4: it's Bad Gyal and Juanka's Blin Blin. It has been a great year for Bad Gyal, who has reached the top spot with two singles: Tú Eres un Bom Bom (Remix) (the third biggest song of the year) and Blin Blin. Aprendiendo el Sexo also achieved the top 3 position. Her latest single is bound to repeat Bom Bom's success, and 2021 looks promising to her, as a new EP is seeing the light between January and February. This week, her collaboration with Soto Asa enters the top 10 at #7.

Next week a new year will have arrived, with new music to enjoy and appreciate. Nevertheless, 2020 has been a great year (at least in the musical aspect). Let's hope we can celebrate these hits with safety, health and joy. Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
