Faves of the Week: Dec 3, 2021

This week, there's a big battle going on. Ghouljaboy has just released his new album “dreamcore”, while Arca has unleashed a storm of new songs releasing four albums on the same week (some songs from “KICK ii” have entered the chart, even though it was released on Tuesday). Furthermore, Bad Gyal is finally releasing some songs that she has been teasing for nearly two years. This time, she wins the top song of the week: Nueva York (Tot*). Ghouljaboy debuts descenso al sueño at #2; the other entries from his album are persona: paranoia star (#6), ??? (#7) and ultra mega love times (#15). Arca's Tiro reaches #3 with only three days of tracking; the other debuting song from “KICK ii” is Luna Llena (#15).

Ghouljaboy has six entries on the chart, while Arca has four. These two artists own a half of the chart.

The other new entry is Música Ligera by Ana Mena (her first entry ever), and the only song that rises is Princesa Alba's pinky promise.

As eight new songs arrive on the chart, other eight have to go. Among these, we find three previous chart-toppers: Bad Gyal's Flow 2000, Arca's Incendio and Samantha Hudson and Papa Topo's Por España; as well as two songs that peaked at #2: InnerCut, Natalia Lacunza and Ghouljaboy's Fuera de Tiempo and Paco Moreno's cashconverters. Interestingly enough, these two tracks were blocked by other songs by the same artist (desorden del sueño and Roneando en una foto con otro chaval, respectively).
