Faves of the Week: Oct. 18, 2019

This week, just as it was written in the prophecy, Kim Petras achieves another chart-topper, this time being the epic ballad Everybody Dies. It also marks the first time an artist has dethroned another one of their own songs, and the first time the same singer has both the #1 and #2 spots, as There Will Be Blood becomes the runner-up. Kim also debuts Icy on the chart, pushed by the release of its music video. The other new entries are La Zowi and Caroline Polachek's latest singles.

Tove Lo keeps rising, with Bad as the Boys featuring ALMA enters the top five, while Are U gonna tell her? and Mistaken stay strong inside the top 10. Confeti de Odio also sees how Si Me Quiero jumps straight to #8, after debuting the previous wek at #21. Other artists with increasing songs are Bravo Fisher!, Duki and Charli XCX (White Mercedes gains positions helped by its music video).

On the other hand, Don't Call Me Angel and Strawberry Shortcake fall to the bottom of the chart, just like Ya No Pienso En Él and Septiembre. It's been a week of big changes.
