Dave and Fredo both get their 1st ever #1 hit as 'Funky Friday' climbs 3 places to take the top spot on its 4th week on the chart. This makes it the tied-2nd fastest climb to #1 after debuting outside of the Top 20, as 'Funky Friday' debuted at #25. Ramz's 'Barking' debuted at #34 and also reached #1 on its 4th week, while Ariana Grande's 'God is a woman' also debuted at #34 and climbed to reach #1 on its 3rd week, making it the record holder. 'God is a woman' drops out of the Top 2 after 13 consecutive weeks in the region, also a record, and it spends its 15th consecutive week in the Top 3 this week, yet another record. Khalid's 'Better' rebounds 1 place to #5 after I listened to his 'Suncity' EP for the first time, which makes a debut at #2 on the albums chart, just behind Post Malone's 'beerbongs & bentleys' which returns for an 18th non-consecutive week at #1. 'MIA' climbs 5 places to #6, making it Bad Bunny's 1st Top 10 and Drake's 7th, 'Taki Taki' climbs 4 to #9, which is the 1st Top 10 for all artists involved, other than Selena Gomez who logs her 3rd, and 'My Blood' climbs 4 to #10 to become twenty one pilot's 1st.

The highest debut of the week comes from an artist who has only charted since his passing earlier this year - XXXTENTACION's 'Arms Around You' makes a splash at #14. It's X's highest chart placement for me, beating his #22 peak on 'Falling Down', while Lil Pump and Maluma both make their 1st chart entries. Swae Lee is the only of the artists to make regular appearances before, as this becomes his 5th chart entry. He's previously had minor hits with Khalid on 'The Ways' and French Montana on 'Unforgettable', and much more success with his 2 Post Malone collaborations, 'Spoil My Night' and Top 3 hit 'Sunflower'. Just below that is the week's highest climber as Eminem continues to ride the wave of his takeover a few weeks ago; 'Mockingbird' climbs 12 places to a new peak of #15. Also reaching the Top 20 are a new debut from Lauren Jauregui with 'Expectations' at #18, her 2nd chart entry, and Little Mix's 'Woman Like You', which climbs 2 places to a new peak of #20.

Yet another former member of Fifth Harmony has debuts this week, as Normani debuts at #22 and #27 with her Calvin Harris collaborations 'Checklist' and 'Slow Down'. Since Camila Cabello also charts, and climb 2 places to #35, with her evergreen hit 'She Loves Control', which is currently on it's 42nd consecutive week on the chart, 3 former members of Fifth Harmony chart simultaneously for the 1st time ever. Khalid has a couple of debuts from his 'Suncity' EP with 'Motion' at #25 and the title track at #34, while Rudimental and Tom Walker debut with 'Walk Alone' at #29. Kygo makes his 4th chart entry and Sandro Cavazza his 2nd with 'Happy Now', new at #37, while BTS have their 2nd ever chart entry with 'Waste It On Me' at #39. Their only other chart entry has also been with Steve Aoki on 'Mic Drop', while Steve has also previously charted with Louis Tomlinson on 'Just Hold On' and Lauren Jauregui on 'All Night'.
