2) Post Malone - 'Stoney' (+1)
3) Little Mix - 'LM5' (Debut)
4) Khalid - 'Suncity' (-2)
5) Eminem - 'Kamikaze' (-1)
With a 3rd consecutive week at #1, Lauren Jauregui's 'Expectations' becomes the joint 5th longest running #1 ever on my charts, tying Eminem's 'River'. The songs above are: Marshmello & Anne-Marie's 'FRIENDS' and Camila Cabello's 'She Loves Control', both with 4 consecutive weeks, Camila's 'Havana', with 8 non-consecutive weeks and Ariana Grande's 'God is a woman' with 9 consecutive weeks. Speaking of Ariana, her 'thank u, next' spends a 2nd week locked at #2 and the aforementioned 'God is a woman' breaks yet another record. It spends an 18th consecutive week in the Top 3 this week, actually breaking the record for the longest consecutive run in the Top 5, which was previously 17 weeks by 'Havana'. And it did it without ever leaving the Top 3! 'Havana' did spend a total of 19 non-consecutive weeks in the Top 5, but it's all but certain that 'God is a woman' will pass that as well. Eminem's 'Mockingbird' climbs again to a new peak of #4, while Halsey's 'Without Me' continues to rebound, up 1 place to #5 this week. XXXTENTACION & Lil Pump's 'Arms Around You' also climbs to a new peak of #7, up 2 places.
There are 3 new entries to the Top 10 at the bottom of it, starting with Kygo's 'Happy Now' which climbs 5 places to #8. Currently on its 4th week on the chart, 'Happy Now' is already the highest charting song for Kygo, beating the #14 peak of 'First Time', and it's extremely close to Sandro Cavazza's #7 peak on Avicii's 'Without You'. Also on its 4th week on the chart is Rudimental's 'Walk Alone', which is up 3 to #9 and also sees new peaks for both of the involved artists. Tom Walker had previously peaked at #16 with 'Leave a Light On', while Rudimental had previously peaked at #10 with 'Sun Comes Up'. At #10 this week is the joint highest climber as 'Sweet but Psycho' blasts up a massive 17 places to enter the Top 10, becoming Ava Max's 1st Top 10 in the process. Khalid's pair of tracks, 'Motion' and 'Suncity', continue to make climbs, up to #13 and #15, respectively, while Skepta's 'Neighbourhood Watch' climbs 4 to reach a new peak of #17. Charli XCX's '1999' is the other joint highest climber of the week, up 17 places to reach the Top 20 at #19.
Little Mix's new album 'LM5' makes an impact on the chart this week as it crashes in at #3 on the albums chart, with its highest entry on the singles chart being 'Woman's World' at #18. This immediately becomes Little Mix's 2nd highest chart position ever on my charts, beating out the #20 peak of 'Woman Like Me' to fall behind only the #5 peak of 'Is Your Love Enough?'. 'LM5' sees a total of 7 entries this week, 6 of which are new debuts, at #18, #25, #29, #30, #33, #35 and #40, bringing their total amount of chart entries to 11. Continuing to climb the chart is 'Photographs' by Professor Green & Rag'n'Bone Man, up a further 2 to another new peak of #26 this week, while long-running hit 'She Loves Control' rebounds 6 places to #31 on its 45th week on the chart. Other long-running hits 'rockstar' and 'Bloodstream' also rebound, with the former up 3 places to #32 on its 59th week and the latter up 2 to #36 on its 80th week. After 3 weeks locked at #40, 'Ruin My Life' finally gets a spurt of life and climbs 3 places to a new peak of #37. Finally, Normani gets her 4th entry on my charts as 'Waves' debuts at #38.
Thanks for reading everyone! :D
