4) Post Malone - 'Stoney' (=)
5) Bebe Rexha - 'Expectations' (Re)
With a 6th consecutive week at #1, Lauren Jauregui's 'Expectations' is creeping closer to the all-time record. Currently it's only behind Camila Cabello's 'Havana', which spent 8 non-consecutive weeks at #1, 4 of which were consecutive, and Ariana Grande's 'God is a woman', which spent 9 consecutive weeks at #1. There's also no movement at #2 as 'thank u, next' spends a 5th consecutive week in the position. There is, however, movement in the Top 3 for the first time in 5 weeks as 'God is a woman' finally gets pushed down to #4 after 20 consecutive weeks in the region. The song to replace it at #3 is 'Happy Now' by Kygo & Sandro Cavazza, a track that's been climbing ever since it first entered the chart at #37 6 weeks ago. The highest climber of the week comes from Nina Nesbitt's 'Colder', which takes a massive 10 place climb into the Top 10 at #6 on its 2nd week on the chart. She only ever previously charted at #34 for 1 week with 'Loyal to Me', so this is easily a new peak and 1st Top 10 entry for her. At #10 is another new entry to the region as tracks from Rita Ora's 'Phoenix' continue to rule the chart; 'Hell of a Life' climbs 1 to become Rita's 3rd Top 10.
Skepta's 'Neighbourhood Watch' reaches another new peak as it climbs 2 to #12, while Little Mix's 'Woman's World' reaches its previous peak of #16 once again as it climbs 1 place. Just below is the highest new entry of the week, which comes from Seeb & Bastille with 'Grip', new at #17. Seeb has previously charted at #30 on 'Rich Love' with OneRepublic, and #14 on 'I Took a Pill in Ibiza (Seeb Remix)' with Mike Posner, making 'Grip' his 2nd best charting song already, while Bastille has previously reached peaks of #7 on 'Happier' with Marshmello and #12 on 'I Know You' with Craig David. At #19 & #20 there's a double hit of songs from 'Phoenix', #21, #22 and #23 holds a triple hit of songs from Clean Bandit's new album, 'What Is Love?', #24 & #25 have a double hit of Post Malone tracks, and to finish off the groupings there's another double hit of 'Phoenix' tracks at #26 & #27. The track at #26, 'Lonely Together' reaches a new peak this week by climbing 2 places after spending 3 total weeks locked at #28.
Zara Larsson's 'Ruin My Life' continues its to be one of the longest-running low-charting songs, though it has been climbing for the past 4 weeks and finally breaks into the Top 30 with a 1 place climb to #30 on its 8th week on the chart. Rita Ora's 'Your Song' is another of her tracks to benefit from the release of 'Phoenix', which spends a 3rd consecutive week at #1 on the albums chart, as it climbs 3 places to a new peak of #32, beating its original peak of #33 in October 2017. Finally, 2 new debuts enter the lower regions of the chart, the first of which is Marshmello's 6th entry on my charts. His 'Project Dreams' with Roddy Ricch enters at #33. Just 1 place below is the 1st entry on my charts for Young T & Bugsey, who debut with 'Living Gravy' at #34. The track features Not3s, which makes it his 7th appearance on my charts.
Thanks for reading everyone! :D
