Top albums of the week:
2) Camila Cabello - 'Camila' (-1)
3) Various Artists - 'Black Panther: The Album' (=)
4) Ed Sheeran - 'x' (Re)
5) James Arthur - 'James Arthur' (-3)
Anne-Marie makes it a 2nd week at #1 with 'FRIENDS' at the start of what looks set to be an extended run at #1, as 'FRIENDS' still has a massive lead over anything else on the chart, and anything else being released. 'rockstar' continues to hold up extremely well as it stays at #2, and 'She Loves Control' rises back up to #3. The 2 singles from 'Black Panther', 'Pray For Me' and 'All The Stars', raise up to #4 and #5 this week, respectively. While 'Pray For Me' has previously been to #1, this is a new peak for 'All The Stars' and its first time in the Top 5. 4 other songs from 'Black Panther' remain on the chart, and most of them haven't really lost many places from their debuts 5 weeks ago, making 'Black Panther' one of the best albums for longevity on my charts.
'Fine Line' stays at #6, 'IDGAF' raises 2 to #7, 'Then' takes a heavy hit to #8, dropping 5 places and 'God's Plan' is unchanged at #10. Justin Timberlake's 'Say Something' continues to rise, up 2 places this week to #9, finally breaking into the Top 10 on its 6th week on the chart. Dave's 'Hangman' takes a good climb of 3 places, but just narrowly misses out on the Top 10 as it reaches #11.
Below that we see a lot of new entries from Logic's new album 'Bobby Tarantino II', with the highest of them being the highest new entry of the week. 'Indica Badu' enters at #14. The album sees 4 other new entries at #17, #23, #33 and #37, and it also tops the album chart this week. The highest climber of the week is Tom Walker's 'Leave A Light On', which debuted at #20 2 weeks ago and stayed there last week, but this week climbs 4 places to #16. Ed Sheeran's 'Bloodstream' also climbs 1 place to #20 to enter the Top 20 for the first time in nearly 2 months. On its 44th week on the chart, 'Bloodstream' is by far the longest running song on my chart, and doesn't look set to drop out anytime soon. It should easily make a full year on the chart. Lastly, Years & Years see their first entry on my chart with 'Sanctify', which enters at #21, and John Newman also sees his first entry as 'Fire In Me' enters at #31.
Still no #1 contenders being released, but at least at couple of new entries look set to debut straight into the Top 5 next week, which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for the past month or so. This week was much better than the past few for new releases. Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Hey RandomGuy! You actually found this chart before I'd finished writing the overview! I did the majority of the chart last Friday, but had a really busy weekend so I couldn't finish writing the overview until now.
'Pray For Me' has previously been to #1, but this is a new peak for 'All The Stars' and is the first time that it's every entered the Top 5. Sadly, I don't see either of them going any higher than this in the future, but both have had very good runs on my charts! 'Black Panther' as a whole has had a very good run on my charts as it still has 4 other songs from it on the chart, and most are still in very similar positions as they were when they first debuted.
I'm not entirely sure whether 'IDGAF' and 'Say Something' will climb any more, as 2 new songs are likely to debut above them on Friday, and there's rumours that Shawn Mendes will be releasing new music this Thursday or Friday as well. Since Shawn Mendes is my 3rd favourite artist I'm pretty sure that whatever he releases will debut pretty high.
Thanks for the comment!

Whoa! Too fast :D. I've read your overview too, by the way. I agree with you & 'Black Panther' songs really had a great run on your chart! They also had a great run on my chart (and still have) so that makes 'Black Panther' the top album of 2018 so far for myself! I haven't heard news about Shawn Mendes' new music, but if the rumours are true, I'm very excited! I'm curious now, who are your first and second favorite artist?

Yeah, I really love 'Black Panther'. I'd say it's my second favourite album of 2018 so far, behind Camila Cabello's debut, who, in answer to your question, is my favourite artist. Ed Sheeran was my favourite for a very long time from around mid-2011 until late-2017, but Camila then overtook him because of her incredible streak of amazing music.

I haven't heard Logic's album yet, but I like every other album inside your Top 5! :)
My favourite part of your chart this week is seeing 'Friends' retain the top spot.
I look forward to the next chart & I hope you have a good remainder of the week!

Logic's album was a bit of a surprise for me as I had no idea that it was coming out, and only actually found it last Monday. I had thought that 'Camila' would stay at #1 until 'Speak Your Mind' was released, but I ended up really liking 'Bobby Tarantino II'. I think that 'Camila' will go back to #1 this Friday, though.
'FRIENDS' should stay at #1 for quite a while to come unless Shawn Mendes' rumoured new song is very good, so I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that!
Thanks for the comment! :D

Hey Gameskiller! Fine chart this week! I'm happy that 'FRIENDS' and 'rockstar' remain at the top and absolutely delighted that 'Pray For Me' and 'All The Stars' surged into the Top 5! It's great to see 'IDGAF' and 'Say Something' peak and I hope they will rise more! Cool to see as many Logic debuts, too. Other songs I'm happy to see: 'King's Dead', 'River', 'Havana', 'Opps', 'Something's Gotta Give', 'Paramedic!', 'Mercy', 'X', 'The Middle' and more! Great, great chart. Thank you!
