2025 K-Pop Ban

A year-long ban on K-Pop is in effect for all of 2025. This decision was made in response to the severe and ongoing media harassment of the late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The harassment not only destroyed her career and livelihood but also led to her death, continuing even after she was gone. Her family is currently working hard to restore her reputation. #JusticeforSaeRon

Currently there are whitelisted K-Pop songs for those who provided support to the late actress Kim Sae-Ron during her struggles.

2025 Taiwanese entry allocation limit

A recent controversy has emerged involving actress Chiang Tsu Ping, who has publicly alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the son of the Vice President of Sanlih E-Television. While official action yet to be taken, the Vice President has announced his resignation. This incident has caused public outrage in Taiwan, with many demanding justice. #JusticeforChiangTsuPing

All future Taiwanese entry allocations will be reduced to one for the time being. Additionally, any entries affiliated with Sanlih E-Television will be blacklisted indefinitely.

These restrictions will be reviewed quarterly, starting in January 2026.
