GloRe 20.26 Episode 15

2026 K-Pop entry allocation limit

K-Pop ban remains in effect. This decision was made in response to the severe and ongoing media harassment of the late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The harassment not only destroyed her career and livelihood but also led to her death, continuing even after she was gone. Her family is currently working hard to restore her reputation. #JusticeforSaeRon

Legislations of laws to prevent another occurrence of her tragedy is currently underway. In addition, a lawsuit is also underway to punish the irresponsible media which spread false information that lead to the actress' death.

Currently there are whitelisted K-Pop songs for those who provided support to the late actress Kim Sae-Ron during her struggles, and one (1) entry has been opened to South Korean artists who are not actively engaged in the South Korean showbiz industry.

2026 Taiwanese entry allocation limit

In year 2025, controversy has emerged involving actress Chiang Tsu Ping, who has publicly alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the son of the Vice President of Sanlih E-Television. The official investigation is underway. #JusticeforChiangTsuPing

All future Taiwanese entry allocations will be reduced to two (2) for the time being. Additionally, any entries affiliated with Sanlih E-Television will be blacklisted indefinitely.

2026 Chinese entry Ban

Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong has passed away in year 2025. While his death was officially ruled an accidental fall, more allegations have surfaced suggesting the late actor may have been murdered. Concurrently, all discussions concerning the late actor has censored by the Chinese government.

Thus, all future Chinese entries has been suspended for the remainder of the GloRe 20.25 season. This measure is taken to address the unsettling circumstances and lack of free discussion surrounding the situation.
(Note: Entries from Hong Kong and Macau are not affected by this suspension.)

Next review on the above restriction would be on late June 2026.
