South Korean & K-Pop Entry Ban
In pursuit of the #JusticeForKimSaeRon movement, we are extending the universal ban on all South Korean and K-Pop entries through the end of Season 20.27. We reserve the option to extend this ban further if justice for the late actress is not served.
Effective immediately, a maximum of only two South Korean entries will be allowed at any given time, strictly under the following conditions:
One Whitelist Entry: Exclusively reserved for the soundtrack of the late actress' final screen appearance, Everyday, We Are.
One Overseas Entry: Restricted to artists born in South Korea who are no longer active within the South Korean entertainment industry.
All international K-Pop entries remain strictly banned.
2026 Taiwanese entry allocation limit
In year 2025, controversy has emerged involving actress Chiang Tsu Ping, who has publicly alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the son of the Vice President of Sanlih E-Television. The official investigation is underway. #JusticeforChiangTsuPing
All future Taiwanese entry allocations will be reduced to two (2) for the time being. Additionally, any entries affiliated with Sanlih E-Television will be blacklisted indefinitely.
2026 Chinese entry Ban
Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong has passed away in year 2025. While his death was officially ruled an accidental fall, more allegations have surfaced suggesting the late actor may have been murdered. Concurrently, all discussions concerning the late actor has censored by the Chinese government.
Thus, all future Chinese entries has been suspended for the remainder of the GloRe 20.26 season. This measure is taken to address the unsettling circumstances and lack of free discussion surrounding the situation.
(Note: Entries from Hong Kong and Macau are not affected by this suspension.)
