MWC - May 24, 2023 Doechii

Welcome to Matt's Weekly Countdown!

Doechii's "What It Is" tops the chart for a sixth consecutive week. Loreen holds at #2 for a second week with "Tattoo." Omar Apollo's "Go Away" rebounds one spot to #3, after spending two weeks at no. 1. Vesna drops one spot to #4 with "My Sister's Crown." The Weeknd & Ariana Grande round out the top five, remainin at #5 with "Die For You," which previously spent three weeks at no. 1.

Ethel Cain's "Crush" rebounds up one spot to #6. Reneé Rapp blasts into the top 10 with "Too Well" rising 11-7, becoming the singer's first top 10 on the countdown. Boys World jumps back up one spot to #8 with "Something in the Water," which lastest seven non-consecutive weeks at no. 1. Ethel Cain's "American Teenager" rebounds up one spot to #9, the song was Cain's debut on the chart as well as her first no. 1 song; lasting three non-consecutive weeks at the top. Rounding out the top 10 this week is Joker Out's "Carpe Diem" which falls 6-10.

Outside of the top 10, MICO earns a new peak of #11 with "cut my hair." Fly By Midnight continues to soar up the countdown with "Different Lives;" the song rises nine spots to #14. Medium Build's "99 Corolla" enters the top 20, jumping 22-17. Omar Apollo scores his third top 20 peak on the countdown with "Imagine U" flying up 28-19. Chappell Roan is the third artist to score a new top 20 peak this week as "Casual" rises one spot to #20. FIFTY FIFTY make their countdown debut with "Cupid" entering the chart at #37.
