Notes:
- Until the Ribbon Breaks tops the chart for a 7th week with "A Taste of Silver", gaining another week of a +9 play increase. This one is starting to pull away with the lead and is going to look at a healthy second run on top of the chart. There's a great shot this could keep the top spot for double digit weeks. There aren't any nearby challengers at the moment, but that can change soon.
- "First" moves 7-4 this week for a new peak. This Cold War Kids' third consecutive Top 5 hit, this one tying "Go Quietly"'s (40-39) peak. This doesn't look like a number one, but timing might be key. There's two songs that could fly past this (like what happened to "All This Could Be Yours") and keep it from hitting #1, or it could pull a "Lampshades on Fire" and debunk all my predictions. Timing is key is for this one. Cold War Kids also see a new one from their Record Store Day exclusive EP, Five Quick Cuts, appear on On the Rise, "Thunder Hearts". This could get a low debut next week. This one would more than likely ruin their Top 5 streak, but who knows right?
- Bad Suns enter the Top 10 with "Dancing On Quicksand", going 15-10 this week for a new peak. This one is red hot at the moment and looks to be the top challenger for #1 in the coming weeks. A single push could help this a ton, as right now it's just an album track. Not many album tracks top the chart, but this could.
- "Heavy Is the Head" and "Contagious" gain new peaks again, going 17-13 and 16-15 respectively. "Heavy Is the Head" will look towards the Top 10 next week, but will likely fall short, while "Contagious" will simply look to stay alive.
- "My Type" puts up a dismal following week after last week's monster one, as it rises one position from a +1 play increase, going 19-18. This'll look to have a better week next week.
- The first of two debuts belongs to Starset, as they debut "Halo" at #28. This one goes over On the Rise and debuts with a +15 play increase through the week. This saw steady gains through the whole week, and should have a healthy run. The only issue is that this is looking like their last chart entry, "Carnivore", which started off very well before peaking at #10 and stalling before dropping quickly. This'll look to do better than that, and likely will.
- Muse enters the Top 30 with "Dead Inside" going 33-29 for a new peak. It was a pretty easy gain for the track as many songs are floundering above it, so this should be able to rise without doing much of anything. It would obviously help if it does have a big week because, if it does, it can rise easily to the Top 20.
- "Take Your Time" rises 32-31 in its second week for a new peak. It had a small gain and wasn't able to capitalize on the circumstances. My guess is this will perform similarly to CRUISR's "All Over" (#23) and have little updates, but be able to rise most weeks.
- Mumford & Sons take the final debut at #40 with "The Wolf". It looked like an easy debut last week, as it had a big first week, but was unable to do enough to debut. This had a very slow week, only picking up 2 plays, but was able to debut with two falling fairly easily. This is their first chart entry, but they have been on On the Rise with "The Cave" before.
