5 debuts!

Notes:

  • "Seeing Red" holds the top spot for its second week this week. It was a pretty down week for everything in the Top 5, but nothing new was able to enter into it. "Looking Up" (#2) is starting to make some gains on the top spot and could be the final #1 of the year next week.
  • Zac Brown Band score their second Top 10 this week with "Junkyard" moving 12-10. This one will look to continue higher and things are looking good for the song. Top 5 should be attainable in a few weeks.
  • Coldplay and Skrizzly Adams both move into the Top 20, as "Adventure of a Lifetime" moves 21-18 and "Tipping Point" moves 22-20, both for new peaks. Both look like potential Top 10 hits, but they should both start slowing down now for the time being.
  • Shinedown, Andrew Ripp, and Foo Fighters all enter the Top 40 this week with "State of My Head" (41-38), "Surviving" (44-39), and "Saint Cecilia" (43-40) respectively.
  • The top debut this week belongs to Papa Roach, as "Falling Apart" debuts high at #42. This one had a great week and is actually looking to be a big hit. This is Papa Roach's first chart entry, but I have liked songs of theirs in the past, they just didn't chart.
  • Muse finally score their follow-up to "Dead Inside", as "Reapers" debuts at #47 this week. "Dead Inside" dropped off the chart 4 months ago, and Muse has not seen the chart since. The actual follow-up to the song, "Mercy", only appeared on On the Rise, and that burned on me very quickly. "Reapers" actually has a shot at doing really well. This and "Falling Apart" are two songs to look out for.
  • "Burning House" debuts this week at #63. This is an absolutely beautiful song, but I'm not too sure how it will fare on the chart. It is definitely different than everything else on the chart, and a lot slower, but it could do decently. Right now, Top 50 is possible, but there's room to grow.
  • Yes, I debuted "My Dick". 3OH!3's has to be joke song "My Dick" debuts at #66 this week. For some reason, I actually like the song. I listened to this quite a few times over the week, and I even replayed it a few times.   Don't judge! In all seriousness though, this doesn't look like it'll do all that much. It has the shot at being just a one-weeker. 3OH!3's has had some success on the chart in the past: "Don't Trust Me" (#7), "Starstruckk" (#16), "Touchin' On My" (#6), "Dirty Mind" (#7), and "Make It Easy" (#8).
  • Chris Brown scores the final debut this week with "Fine By Me" at #67. This should likely serve as the follow-up to "Zero" (#23) on the chart, but both should continue charting simultaneously. Chris could score another album debut next week with "Little More (Royalty)".
