Chart

KC's Top 50

Hi guys, usually I don't do these chart beats, at least I haven't in a while. I think they are usually pretty useless but I decided to revive them and see how many charts in a row I can do them without forgetting. Anyways, let's get into it.

Olivia Rodrigo's "good 4 u" finally gets an earned week at No. 1 after fifteen consecitive weeks in the Top 5, the track initially debuted at No. 2 in late May and ended up returning to that peak before falling back to No. 3 for several weeks. Now it's finally No. 1, capping off an incredible year for Rodrigo thus far, "good 4 u" is her second number-one hit following "drivers license" which debuted at No. 1 in January and sat there for two weeks. Her other hit "deja vu" falls 8-10 after peaking at No. 4 back in June. Rodrigo dethrones FM-84's "Running In The Night" which falls No. 4 after nine nonsecutive weeks at #1.

At the runner-up spot for a third consecutive week is The Weeknd's "Take My Breath," the track debuted at No. 7 on the August 14th chart and rushed to number-one the following week. It became his sixth number-one hit, and third this year after "Blinding Lights" returned to the top spot for an eight week in February following his Super Bowl performance, and "Save Your Tears" which reached number-one the week after. Doja Cat pushes 5-3, becoming her third Top 3 hit, she first reached the Top 3 in early 2020 with "Say So," No. 3 ended up being it's peak. However she reached as high as No. 1 for one week in February this year with "Streets," which falls off the chart this week following an album bomb from Halsey and Kanye West. Both Doja Cat and The Weeknd have a second song in the Top 10, together, with their track "You Right" which falls 7-9 after peaking at No. 5. Capping off the Top 5 is Matt Maltese with his breakout hit "As The World Caves In," the track falls to 4-5.

Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow's "INDUSTRY BABY" rises 7-6 after reaching No. 2 in August, Timecop1983 & The Bad Dreamers' "Back To You" fallls 5-7 after a record breaking sixteen weeks atop the chart from March-June. This is the song's first week out of the Top 5 since it moved 6-3 on the February 6th chart, the song first reached the Top 10 on the January 16th chart, meaning it has spent almost the entire year in the Top 10, it has logged an impressive 35 weeks in the Top 10. It's third place behind Benee's "Supalonely" and The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" which both have 37 and 39 weeks in the Top 10 respectively.

Debuting at No. 8 is Halsey's "Bells in Santa Fe," the track is one of many that debuted this week from Halsey's new album, it's her ninth Top 10 hit and first since her Marshmello collab "Be Kind" reached No. 2 last year. She debuts two other tracks in the Top 20; "I am not a woman, I'm a god" at No. 16 and "Lilith" at No. 18.
