Alex Warren holds a third week at the top

To say Alex Warren has humble beginnings might seem a bit odd. The American-born singer was first relevant when he was as a member of the collaborative TikTok group Hype House from 2019 to 2022. Though successful, that group was pestered by controversy and online criticism as well. It did make all members hugely popular though, and Alex Warren was no exception. While some of those influencers switched to acting or modelling, quite a few influencers chose to become singers. Dixie D'Amelio had a short-lived musical career with flops like “Be Happy”, while Bella Poarch had a small viral moment with “Build a B*tch”. It’s a common phenomenon in The Netherlands as well. Famke Louise scored a string of Top 10-hits though pestered by the general public, and YouTuber-and-DJ Monica Geuze had a Top 10-hit with “Laten Gaan” during Ronnie Flex’s heyday. LA-based star Addison Rae’s initial debut, “Obsessed”, was another swing-and-a-miss from an influencers with a weak voice, but after teaming up with Charli XCX, stunned both her friends and enemies with “Diet Pepsi”. She’s now a Grammy-nominated headliner with a string of big hits already. With the way paved for him, Alex Warren’s scoring even bigger. His previous song “Ordinary” was massive hit, especially in the United States, yet it only reached #33 on this chart. He’s now new at Number 1 with “Fever Dream”, another big international hit for the American singer, and with this more upbeat production, his first big hit on this chart as well! The music video with Paris Hilton helps a bit as well. It currently holds the top spot for a third consecutive week.

Ravyn Lenae sheds her one-hit-wonder status for good as the new “Handle” soars up to #6. The young up-and-comer has already collaborated with the likes of Steve Lacy and supported SZA on her CTRL Tour across the United States and Sabrina Carpenter her Short ‘N Sweet Tour. Ravyn Lenae also has a solid indie fanbase that supported her through her first two album cycles. Last year, the R&B-infused “Love Me Not” went viral on TikTok and launched the American singer-songwriter up the Billboard Hot 100. On my chart, “Love Me Not” finished at #2 and ranked as one of the best-scoring hit singles of 2025. A follow-up is always hard to land, especially when it comes to the R&B-genre, but Ravyn is proven right with “Handle”. The guitar-driven track is the lead single for Ravyn Lenae’s third studio album, titled Blue Island. Blue Island has been described as an "immersive world shaped by poise, playfulness, and quiet confidence". To support the album, Ravyn Lenae will soon tour Europe across many festival appearances.

Taylor Swift picks up the guitar again – this time to serenade the beloved Cowboy character Jessie for Toy Story 5, which will be released in cinemas soon. Taylor Swift comes off the end of her Showgirl Era, which was met with divisive reactions from fans and critics, but was a major success nonetheless. On here, “The Fate of Ophelia” spent three weeks at Number 1. Swift is no stranger to a soundtrack hit single; she’s previously soundtracked The Hunger Games’s “Safe & Sound” – a very underrated song in Swift’s discography – and she contributed “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” to Fifty Shades of Grey. Toy Story previously spawned the sing-a-long “You’ve Got a Friend In Me” by Randy Newman. Will Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” match that classic? It does start off as the highest debut of the week at #24.

Further down, Dutch singers Zoë Tauran and Luna come together on the fun “Twin” at #30. The song features an uncredited verse by popular rapper Ronnie Flex. Meanwhile, Dutch colleague Bente enters the Top 40 with the fast “3, 2, 1” at #31. She broke through in the Netherlands last year with her Dutch cover of Cher’s “Believe”. More hits followed quickly and Bente is currently one of the fastest rising stars of Holland.
