Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue scores her first Top 3-song in over ten years, while Snelle and Maan steadily remain atop the chart

Dutch rapper Snelle and singer Maan enter a third consecutive week at Number 1 with “Blijven Slapen”. The single is steadily becoming one of the highest-scoring songs of the year. Snelle and Maan manage to keep their competition far away, aided by strong streaming numbers and their recent performances at The Streamers. Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue contends for Number 1 with “Real Groove”. The song, aided by the Initial Talk-remix, becomes the Aussie Pop Princess her first Top 3-song in over ten years this week. Her last song to achieve a Top 3-placing was her 2011-Number 1 “Higher”. If Kylie were to peak atop the chart next week, it would become her eighth chart-topper.

American R&B duo Silk Sonic score their first Top 10-entry with “Leave the Door Open”, as the single peaks at Number 10 this week. The duo is comprised by Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, of whom the latter is no stranger to success. Bruno Mars has scored thirteen Top 10s and three Number 1s on this list, with his biggest scorer being “Uptown Funk”. The single its recent success is aided by their performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards and their anticipated upcoming debut studio album.

The highest debut of the week is earned by newcomer Tom Grennan. The British singer found success as a frequent performer on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and as a feature on Chase & Status’s “All Goes Wrong”. This year, Grennan earned bigger success with his second studio album Evering Road, which debuted at Number 1 on the Official UK Charts. This week, the album its fourth single “Little Bit of Love” becomes Tom Grennan his first entry on my chart and the highest debut of the week, entering at Number 17.

Outside of Tom Grennan his highest entry, two other songs make their debut. American rapper and “Old Town Road”-singer Lil Nas X debuts at Number 26 with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. The new song has received high praise for being unapologetically queer, but has also sparked controversy in the United States. At Number 36, Dutch singer-and-YouTuber Emma Heesters enters with the sassy “Schat Ik Ben OK”. She has already claimed big successes on this list before, including a Number 1 with the 2019-hit “Pa Olvidarte”.

As we enter April, it’s time to check in on the best-scoring singles of 2021 so far. As of this week, Olivia Rodrigo has the highest-scoring release of 2021 with the multi-platinum “drivers license”. The song was an immediate worldwide hit with great success. On this list, the song spent six consecutive weeks atop the chart and scored over 90,000 points. In second, we have “Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten” by the Dutch-Belgian duo Jaap Reesema & Pommelien Thijs, closely followed by SZA her “Good Days”. AMAZING list especially the fact that top 10 has been unshakable for a while I'm loving the fact that Leave the door open jump to top 10 beneath it also Up looking to enter maybe next week. Like the gain of Peaches too.im happy to see the top 10 list of 2021 so far
.telephone at number 1 ten years ago reminds me of some memories great list though. Enjoy the weekend

Hey Link! :)
I like seeing 'Blijven Slapen' remain at #1, but what I love even more is seeing the legendary Kylie Minogue back in the Top 3 for the first time in over a decade, even if I prefer the remix of 'Real Groove' with Dua Lipa, haha.
Elsewhere, I love that 'Leave The Door Open' takes a massive climb, along with the debuts for 'Little Bit Of Love' & 'Montero [Call Me By Your Name]'!
Amazing chart as usual.
Have a nice week!
