Dutch rapper Antoon claims a fourth consecutive week at Number 1 with “Hyperventilatie”, as the song scores another week of impressive streaming numbers. With over 50 combined streams this week, Antoon outperforms his closest competition with ease. Meanwhile in second place, “Heartbreak Anthem” by Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix remains at its peak position for a second consecutive week. New competitors are just around the corner, as The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber’s “Stay” jumps seven places to Number 3, aided by growing streaming numbers.
At Number 9, couple-turned-singers Suzan & Freek enter the Top 10 with their summer-infused single “Onderweg Naar Later”. Ever since their acclaimed debut with “Als Het Avond Is” back in 2018, the duo has been a national chart mainstay, scoring back-to-back Top 40-hits with ease. Success continued with performances on Beste Zangers Van Nederland and high-profile collabs with Snelle. On this chart, Suzan & Freek have now earned seven Top 10-hits, which includes a Number 1-single with “Blauwe Dag”.
The highest entry of the week is scored by Anne-Marie and Little Mix with “Kiss My (Uh Oh)”. The new song is the fourth official single from Anne-Marie’s newly released sophomore album Therapy and was preceded by “Our Song” [#13] with Niall Horan and “Don’t Play” [#28] with KSI. The single samples the 2003-hit “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)” by Lumidee, which topped various worldwide charts and peaked at Number 11 on this list. “Kiss My (Uh Oh)” debuts at Number 15, earning Anne-Marie her fourteenth Top 40-hit and Little Mix their record-extending thirty-first.
At Number 20, ex-Fifth Harmony-singer Camila Cabello debuts with her Latin-infused “Don’t Go Yet”, the lead single of her upcoming third studio album. This is her first entry since 2019’s Top 10-hit “My Oh My”. “MONTERO (Call My Be Your Name)” has barely left the charts or Lil Nas X is already back with a new hit in the making, as “Industry Baby” debuts at Number 30. The song features Jack Harlow, who has not entered this chart before. At Number 35, while comfortably at Number 1, Antoon already tries to secure a follow-up hit with “Bootje”, his new collaboration with Paul Sinha. Closing off the Top 40, acclaimed newcomer S10 debuts with “Adem Je In”; a heartfelt soft ballad which was recently remixed to feature Dutch rappers Frenna and Kevin.
To celebrate the return of Camila Cabello, I have decided to take a look at the American-Cuban singer her chart history. The artist first rose to fame on The X Factor USA in 2012 as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. With the girls, she scored a string of Top 40-singles, including the multi-platinum Number 1-hit “Work From Home”. After Camila decided to leave the group in 2016, she started her solo career with high-profile collaborators such as J Balvin and Machine Gun Kelly. In 2018, she released her eponymous debut album which spawned the chart-topper “Havana”, making her the only Fifth Harmony-member to score a solo Number 1-hit. Success continued with the follow-up singles, including a second Number 1 with “Señorita”; a duet with her boyfriend-and-singer Shawn Mendes.
