On the very first week of JUANOGAYO (yasss) Ayumi Hamasaki takes hold of the entire top 5, with her 2000 hit "M" leading the way at #1, followed by "Naturally" from the same album "I am...". Despite it being November, Ayu isn't ready to let go of summer as "Summer Again" is the next song in the JUANOGAYO hit parade. Ayu also lands the LOONAppears Certified Hit "appears" and yet another song from "I am...", "UNITE!" in the top 5.
The next section of the top 10 is in turn full of K-pop girls, with a sizeable chunk coming from LE SSERAFIM's latest EP "ANTIFRAGILE", the title track of which is the highest charting song from the record this week. Also in the top 10 are SNSD's Hyoyeon's infectious single "DEEP" and IVE's 70s-inspired smash "After LIKE".
As far as the rest of the chart goes, wherever you look at there's an Ayu song there. The exceptions being Red Velvet's Seulgi with her solo debut "28 Reasons", Namie Amuro with "Chit Chat" and "Try Me", and last but not least (G)I-DLE with 2 tracks from their brand new mini album "I Love", which features the feminist anthem "Nxde".
Thank you for tuning in! Next chart is scheduled to come out November 11, but do keep in mind that I'm very busy with work so it might come out a bit later than that.
