Chart

My Top 50

Despite the charts being taken over by the holidays, MAG!C☆PRINCE's "Update" recieves the Christmas #1. Ice Cube moves up to the Top 2, and Pentatonix re-enter the Top 5 with "Hallelujah". The a cappella group's other holiday hit "Mary, Did You Know?" reaches a new peak of #6 of this week. Three holiday songs reach the Top 10 for the first time. Shane Dawson's "Maybe This Christmas" at #8, Pentatonix's and Maren Morris's "When You Believe", and "Last Christmas" by Taylor Swift, and Carly Rae Jepsen's version comes back to the Top 10 at #7. This is the first time two versions of the same song has been in the Top 10 at the same time.

As for debuts, most of that goes to the holidays, as "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" by Pentatonix debuts at #39, and their version of "Little Drummer Boy" debuts at #40, along with the Japanese Christmas song that's bound to become a classic with back number's "Christmas Song" at #41. The only non-holiday debut is "Don't Think Twice", from the Kingdom Hearts III soundtrack.

I like seeing 'Update' holding on to the #1 spot even with the Christmas takeover, although the predictions indicate that it might not be at the top for much longer.
I really love two different covers of 'Last Christmas' in the Top 10, especially I admire both artists!
Pentatonix with all those gains & re-entries is a big positive too.
See you on the BB200 article tonight hopefully & if not, I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, Ice Cube might take over in the next week or two. Glad to see you're happy about a lot, but a lot of this Christmas should fall out next week. Hope you have a happy new year as well.
