Hey Gameskiller! Thanks for commenting. :)
'Perfect' might eventually have a chance to get as far as six weeks at the rate it's going & while that wouldn't be my longest #1 ever, it would be the longest run at the top since I've had a Crown Note account!
'Fairytale Of New York' might be able to climb again next week, but I'm fairly sure 'Let You Down' will rise to a new peak.
I'm pleased to hear that you liked all of my debuts & re-entries that you've heard of!
Yeah, I loved 'River' at first listen, but now all three versions of 'Perfect' combined are really starting to challenge it for the top spot! My predictions are going to change a lot throughout the week, so I might update you on Monday about how they are changing.
Cool, I'll head there now, I can't wait to see it!
It'd be cool to see 'Perfect' get to #1 again next week and get 6 weeks at #1 in total eventually, though I would much prefer 'River' to get there next week. It's my favourite Eminem song ever, and I like a lot of his songs! :D
I'd also love to see 'Fairytale of New York' and 'Let You Down' climb next week, since the former is my favourite Christmas song and the latter is one of my favourite songs of the year.
See you on the update on Monday! I replied to your comment on this week's UK chart, and part of it was about the most likely songs to be #1 on the update and on the main chart. :D
Hey Piran this is a fantastic chart! great to see Ed and Wham stick at #1 and #2, and seeing Camila debut twice in the top 6 is amazing! I also love seeing Matt Terry reach the top 10! although I prefer Sucker For You, The Thing About Love managed to debut in my chart too the week before last! great to see all the Christmas debuts, this'll probably be the week quite a few debut on mine too when I catch up, and I love seeing Meant To Be debut too! its a great song, although its disappointing that (Not) The One wasn't a single as that would've been my #1 late summer into autumn!
its cool to see River debuted for #1 next week just like it is for GamesKiller01, but tbh I don't think it's that great, it could be better. maybe itll grow on me idk, but I wasn't that amazed at first listen. :)
just a question cos ive been wondering... how many times have you had to create songs to enter your chart? cos ive had to create quite a few recently lol :)
Thanks Calum! :)
I knew you'd be happy with Camila getting two debuts in the Top 10 in the same week! I think all of her solo singles have reached the Top 10, except for 'I Have Questions'! I'm not sure if 'Crown' will do it, but I said the same thing about 'Never Be The Same' & look what happened there.
Regarding Matt Terry, I always enjoyed 'When Christmas Comes Around' & 'Sucker For You', but 'The Thing About Love' was the first song of his that I loved. Capital FM seem to play his music a lot more than other stations!
The songs I've had to add to the database are: 'The Thing About Love' by Matt Terry, 'Senorita' by Kay One ft Pietro Lombardi, 'Szabadon' by Akos & incredibly, 'Without You' by Avicii ft Sandro Cavazza.
Which songs have you had to "create" on here?
lol yeah I hope Crown hits your top 10! it looks to have no chance on charting, but I don't really mind, id say its probably the worst song she's done so far. although the fact its for a soundtrack means I doubt she wrote it, and was probably just chosen to sing it, so it's not like the stuff she writes.
well, I had to create Bad Boys by Stormzy, Ghetts & J Hus back near the start of 2017 and didnt create anything for a while, but ive had to create a few recently: Little Bit Leave It by Chris & Kem, the original version of Dimelo by Rak-Su and also Mona Lisa and the original of My Lover by Not3s! tbh though I have less chance to given all the songs in my chart have already charted.
Lol Piran you made The Thing About Love with no cover! ;)
have a good week! :)
Wow, lot of big losses this week, especially for Taylor Swift. I'm happy to see "Last Christmas" at #2. Nice to see "Santa Tell Me" rise... why is "Ric Flair Drip" charting? Interesting to see Taylor Swift drop out with two of her songs, and "Gucci Gang" exiting is amazing. I like seeing "Miss You" on Bubbling Under. Not too fond of your next #1 though. Also, I responded back to you :)
Thanks for the comment Naos! :)
Taylor Swift will probably be climbing back up the charts when those Christmas songs drop out.
'Last Christmas' is still a contender for Christmas #1 for me, but so is 'Perfect' as the entire Top 3 are very close!
'Santa Tell Me' will probably hit the Top 15 for me next week & 'Ric Flair Drip' is charting mostly because of how I much I like the hook! The production isn't bad at all & I think Offset's flow is impressive.
'Gucci Gang' probably won't come back, but I'm not sure if either 'Look What You Made Me Do' or ' ... Ready For It?' will be returning!
I think 'Miss You' might drop out of the bubbling under chart next week, as I've literally gave only one listen in the past seven days.
See you on the BB200 article tonight!
Hey Piran, great chart once again! Not surprised to see 'Perfect' at #1 but with all those remixes he keeps getting out I'm not surprised. Great to see 'Last Christmas' at #2 and 'Real Friends' debut at #3! I remember when you told me it might miss the Top 5, so I'm glad it debuted this high! Also great to see 'NBTS' debut at #6! I'm glad to see gainers from : 'Let You Down', 'Santa Tell Me' and 'Echame La Culpa'. Sad to see drops for 'MIC Drop (Remix), 'Playing With Fire' and 'DNA', but I'm glad they all survived! Now rating your new entries : Real Friends (10/10), Never Be the Same (10/10), Get What You Give (7/10), Ric Flair Drop (6-7/10) and Meant to Be (6/10). 'River' as a prediction for #1 is confusing but I haven't checked the song out and I don't plan to. From your bubbling under I love seeing 'Crown' and 'Crystal Snow'! A great chart as always! Hope you have a great weekend and I'll see you soon.
Thanks Tom! :)
The Andrea Bocelli symphony is only contributing for about 5% of 'Perfect's performance on my chart right now, with the original getting about 30% & the Beyoncé duet accounting for the remaining 65%.
'Last Christmas' might still be a contender for Christmas #1, but 'Real Friends' will very likely be falling next week unfortunately, but it could easily recover going into 2018!
Haha, yeah, 'Never Be The Same' debuting at #6 isn't bad considering I thought it would miss the Top 10 initially.
You'll be pleased to hear that you like seeing: 'Let You Down', 'Santa Tell Me' & 'Echame La Culpa' all hit new peaks & they should be rising again next week!
Regarding BTS, 'Mic Drop' & 'DNA' will probably fall again on the next chart, but both should survive! The good news for you is that 'Crystal Snow' is currently set to debut somewhere in the 30s.
I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed all of my debuts this week, especially both songs from Camila!
'River' kind of reminds me of 'Eraser' at first listen! It'll probably debut at #2 on the UK Christmas charts. What do you think of Eminem as an artist in general then?
Both of those songs you pointed out that were in bubbling under will probably debut next week! What did you think of my throwbacks?
See you on the Hot 100 article tomorrow.
Hey Piran, I see Christmas is taking over you charts once again but what I'm really happy for is that Camila managed to debut her 2 new songs in your top 10! Perfect at #1 for a second week is awesome. Also, I see your charts are more hectic than usual this week. I'm sad most of that movement is because of Taylor's songs taking big falls, she's not having a good time here, is she? Hey I'm actually happy that River might debut at #1 next week in your chart, I like the song but I think they could've used that part when Eminem goes "My name's" and Ed goes "oh oh" more lol, I really liked that. I just added a new chart, hope you can check that! Talk to you soon.
Hey Ines! Thanks for the comment here. :)
Yeah, I'm feeling a lot more festive than usual this year. In 2016, there were four Christmas songs in my chart on Christmas Day, with none reaching as high as the Top 10 (the highest charting one last year was 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' at #13). This year, there are eight inside the Top 40 & three in the Top 10... still with another week to go!
'Perfect' is still a contender to be #1 next week! In terms of its chart performance for each version, here is how much each one is contributing: 65% for the Beyoncé duet, 30% for the original & 5% for the Andrea Bocelli symphony.
Regarding Taylor, she's only falling or dropping out thanks to the Christmas songs, so the songs she's currently charting with could recover considerably next month!
Haha, I agree with you that those were cool in 'River'! My favourite part about the song was the delivery of both artists, especially Emimen's intensity towards the end of the final verse & how much Ed's chorus reminded me of that of 'Eraser'.
Oh cool, I'll check your new chart for sure. See you soon, friend!
Cool! I can't wait to see if Perfect will keep at #1 or if it will be replaced by River. My next #1 should be Anitta's new song, somehow it broke the record of the most played song in 24 hours on Spotify in Brazil: it managed to get 2 million plays which is more than Rockstar (the #1 on Spotify US) did in America! It's a song sung mostly in Portuguese featuring Maejor rapping in English, but I don't think you will like it... but everyone I know is crazy about that song lol. I hope Taylor can recover soon! Check my chart whenever you can, see ya!
Haha, I've just been feeling so much more festive this year than usual.
'Ric Flair Drip' will probably go Top 30 next week, but I think it'll peak outside of the Top 20!
'Look What You Made Me Do' & ' ... Ready For It?' are probably completely gone now, but the songs that Taylor has on the chart right now could recover after Christmas.
'MotorSport' might debut next week. The song is okay, but it got a lot more listens than I first expected, so that's why it's in bubbling under!
Thanks for the comment & I'll see you soon.
Hey Sergej! I hope you're having a good weekend. :)
I'm happy to hear that you liked all of the debuts, except for 'Meant To Be. All of the new entries this week should survive next week too!
'Fairytale Of New York' is still on course to hit the Top 3 on the next chart, while 'Merry Xmas Everybody' is definitely going to be in the Top 10 next week too.
See you soon!
Hello! Sorry that I didn't write earlier, but I had some hearth issues and now I have to do some project! Good to see "Perfect" and "Last Christmas" still at first two places! I love "Never Be The Same" and "Get What You Give" as new entries (Do you know original version of "Get What You Give"?) as well as "Something Just Like This" and "Cola" as re-entries! Christmas Chart looks to be so special, can't wait for it!
That's fine! I hope your health issues improve soon & that your project goes well. :)
My predictions have been shaking up a lot since yesterday, so the Top 2 might have some movement next week!
'Never Be The Same' will fall slightly on the next chart, but 'Get What You Give' is in for a decent climb.
I have heard the original version of 'Get What You Give' actually, but I nearly love the Felix Cartal remix just as much!
Both 'Something Just Like This' & 'Cola' will survive next week & may even gain.
I'm now going to comment on your new chart!
Nice seeing Perfect remaining at #1. According to Simm's final predictions, it is literally one point apart from Rockstar for this week on the Hot 100, so I hope Perfect has the edge, as I think it's going to be #1 the week after as well.
Nice seeing "Let Me Go" and "Wolves" in the top 10 as well as seeing "End Game", "MIC Drop", "Let You Down", "New Year's Day", "Havana", "Meant to Be", and "DNA" in your top 40.
Hey MrMcCloud! :)
Well your wish for 'Perfect' came true & yeah, I agree that it's getting a third week at #1 as well.
'Let Me Go' & 'Wolves' should remain in the Top 10 for the rest of the year now.
Of those other songs you mentioned, only 'Meant To Be' is the one that'll definitely gain next week. I see 'New Year's Day' getting a boost when it does come to January 1st though!
See you back on the Hot 100 article, where I'll leave a comment on your 'x' review in a few minutes.
Great to see 'Perfect' get another week at #1, and fantastic to see both 'Real Friends' and 'Never Be The Same' to debut in the Top 6, with 'Real Friends' at #3! I also love seeing 'Fairytale of New York' so high up in the chart and 'Let You Down' reaching a new peak this week!
I like a lot of your debuts and re-entries this week, though I haven't heard some of them. I'd rate them: 'Real Friends' (100/100), 'Never Be The Same' (98/100), 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' (63/100), 'Merry Christmas Everyone' (71/100), 'Something Just Like This' (81/100), 'Cola' (85/100) & 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' (72/100).
It's also fantastic to see 'River' predicted to debut straight in at #1 next week! I absolutely love the song!
My latest chart is also up now, which you can find in the group chat or on my profile.
As always, great chart and I look forward to the next one! :D
