Hey Piran! I really like that 'High Hopes' is your new #1 this week! Since it's reaching #1 on its 14th week on the chart, is it the song with the longest climb to #1 on your charts, or has another song spent even longer before reaching #1? I'm not a huge fan of the massive climb for 'Shallow', but I do like the climbs to new peaks for 'Happier' and 'Let You Love Me' inside or just outside of the Top 10, and the debut for 'Polaroid' at #10. The new peaks for 'Love No More' and 'Better' are both great as well. I absolutely love the debuts for 'Back & Forth', 'Without Me', 'Taki Taki', 'Funky Friday' and 'I DId Something Bad', as well as the re-entries for 'Getaway Car' and 'Consequences'. Great chart once again! :D

Hey Gameskiller! Thanks as usual for the comment. :)
Regarding your question, 'Perfect' actually got to #1 in its 23rd week in the Top 40 (& nine months after initial release as a track from '÷'), so 'High Hopes' doesn't set any new chart records for me. That said, since it leads the chart after 'Eighteen', it's the first time ever in my charts that a rock song has replaced another rock song atop my charts!
It's a shame you didn't take to 'A Star Is Born' like I did, although I'm not surprised since you haven't been a huge fan of any of the big soundtracks so far this year, but 'Shallow' should be easily hitting the spot next week.
That said, 'Happier' & 'Let You Love Me' will struggle to get any higher, but after the Jess Glynne takeover fades, I think 'Love No More' should have a shot at the Top 10, while 'Better' might reach the Top 20!
Of those debuts & re-entries you mentioned, I see a majority of them climbing over the coming weeks, especially: 'Polaroid', 'Back & Forth', 'Taki Taki', 'Funky Friday' & 'Consequences'!
See you soon.

Hello Piran!
I really like that "High Hopes" is your #1, the huge gain for "Shallow" in your top 5, "Trip" being in your top 10, "Love No More" gaining big, the debuts for "Polaroid", "Taki Taki", "Funky Friday", "Consequences" and especially "Back & Forth" (I absolutely condone every debut that I've listed, especially the final one!)!
I also like the prediction of Jess Glynne's impact in your chart, which also could happen in my chart next week!
Great chart!

Hey Sergej! Thanks for the comment as usual. :)
I'm so glad to hear that you like the new #1, as well as the song that should be the #1 next week!
'Trip' might reach a new peak eventually as Ella Mai's album just came out.
As for those debuts or re-entries, I think most, if not all of them will climb eventually!
'Love No More' should be able to get near or even sneak into the Top 10 after the impact of 'Always In Between' fades.
Thanks again & I'll see you soon!

I love seeing 'High Hopes' reach the top spot of your chart! I also like the gain for 'Let You Love Me' and 'Happier', along with the re-entries for 'Getaway Car' and 'Consequences'. It's also nice to see 'I Did Something Bad' finally entering your chart, were you not keen on the song when 'reputation' dropped? Have a good week :)

Hey Sam! :)
I'm very pleased to hear that you like the new #1, but 'Let You Love Me' & 'Happier' might've peaked this week unfortunately.
'Getaway Car' might stick around, but 'Consequences' definitely will & might even be climbing back up the chart over the coming weeks!
Taylor's performance of 'I Did Something Bad' certainly helped, but the song did grow on me a little since 'Reputation' came out, even it's still one of my least favourite tracks from it.
Thank you for the comment!

Aww, Keyakizaka46 already dropped out :(

That aside, cool to see "High Hopes" at #1, and "Getaway Car" return. Not too fond of "I Did Something Bad" though.

Hey Naos! :)
Yeah... with the Jess Glynne album bomb coming next week, I don't see 'Ambivalent' making a comeback, even afterwards.
'High Hopes' might not get another week at #1, but I think it'll become one of my longest charting Top 40 songs, since I started Crown Note nearly two years ago at least!
'Getaway Car' & 'I Did Something Bad' might both drop again next week, but both could still re-enter before the end of the month.
See you on the Hot 100 article tonight!

Hi, I'm back! First time commenting on someone else's chart in a while.

Let's see... I like "High Hopes" (The only song I am SUPER excited for at the moment on the chart!), "Shallow" (I think it finally grew on me), "Happier", "Promises", "Girls Like You", "Eastside", "Without Me" (I'm surprised at this one. I thought you don't like Halsey), "Youngblood", "Taki Taki" (what's up with it not being played on the radio?), "Thunderclouds", and "I Did Something Bad".

Hey MrMcCloud! How have you been this week? :)
I'm also really excited about how big 'High Hopes' is becoming, although this should be its only week at #1 on my chart. That said, the good news for you is that 'Shallow' is the song that'll dethrone it!
Regarding 'Taki Taki', due to an album bomb from Jess Glynne, it'll be the only song of those you mentioned climbing in the next chart! I'm not sure, it sounds like it would be a smash on the radio, but I read your recent post regarding why on the Hot 100 & it's such an annoyance from Atlantic Records.
As for 'Without Me', it's probably Halsey's best solo song to date, even if I have mixed thoughts on her in general!
See you soon & I hope you have a good weekend.
