Hey Piran! It's great to see 'SOS' topping your year-end list - not only is it a great track, but it's also a fitting tribute to a fantastic artist. I also really like seeing 'Sweet But Psycho' and 'Señorita' complete the Top 3, and 'Dance Monkey' managing to hold strong inside the Top 10 at #6 despite it only impacting your charts relatively late in the year is very impressive! It's also great to see 'Someone You Loved', 'Outnumbered' and 'Piece Of Your Heart' all inside the Top 10, and 'Old Town Road (Remix)', 'Beautiful People', 'Post Malone' and 'Liar' all making the Top 20 is fantastic as well! 'Body Back' making it all the way to #22 despite only debuting a few weeks ago is incredible, while seeing 'South of the Border', '1999', 'Circles', 'Sunflower', 'thank u, next' and 'Don't Call Me Up' all making the Top 40 is really great. Further down it's awesome to see Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Mabel, Jax Jones, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Post Malone and Lewis Capaldi all get more entries, and I absolutely love that Nina Nesbitt was able to sneak in near the end with 'Colder' at #95! My year-end chart will most likely go up at the start of 2020, to allow for tracks from 'Romance' and 'Heavy Is The Head' to make an impact, but this is a really great chart here! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
Yeah, that was always going to top this list for me! Avicii deserves a massive tribute, which is what he got here given that 'SOS' is the only song that's been streamed more than 1000 times by myself this year.
That being said, 'Sweet But Psycho' was dominant both last Christmas & New Year, while 'Senorita' was at #1 longer than even both of those managed, so I could've seen them completing the Top 3, but still, glad you like all three of them!
'Dance Monkey' probably got as high as it did by soaring up the charts rapidly, but taking forever to die down, even surviving some album bombs.
As for 'Body Back', I don't think it's likely that any song will beat it going into 2020, but I never would've predicted a song this incredible would make such a late impact on this list, so the same thing could happen with another song in 12 months from now, haha!
There were indeed loads of big pop names that got multiple entries lower down in the chart as you mentioned, but I know you'd be most excited about 'Colder', as I only checked that out because you recommended it to me.
I'll post my Decade-End chart at some point during the week on here too!
Thanks for the comment.

Hey Piran!
Glad to see "SOS" at the top of your Year-End list!
And the other songs in the top 10 are great too, even though "Someone You Loved" has worn out on me after overplay.
Many songs in your top 100 are great, 5 Eurovision songs in your Year-End list, that's great!
79 songs out of 100 songs are great, the rest I haven't heard yet.
Great year-end list, I'll start making my own Year-End list as well, among with a huge surprise!

Hey Sergej! :)
I think 'SOS' being the #1 song of 2019 was a truly fitting tribute to Avicii on my part, so I'm very happy that you agree with it being on top.
The overplay has got to me with 'Someone You Loved' too, but even then, I can't deny that it remains an absolutely stunning breakthrough single that deserved a Top 10 placing here!
Eurovision did indeed have a successful year, but five songs from the contests over the past decade will also appear in my 2010's chart too, so stay tuned for that, as I'll be uploading it in full later on in the week.
Thanks for the comment as usual!

Hi Piran! It has been a great musical year (of course there have been other better years!). I have counted on your list 57 songs that have also had/are present in my chart. I really like to see several Sigrid songs on your list. She currently leads my chart with "Home To You." I never miss your comments on Crownnote and the UK Official Chart, as they are always extraordinary and contribute a lot. From now on I wish you a Merry Christmas!

Hey Rockmaker! :)
It's amazing to hear that over half the songs on this list have appeared in your personal chart at some point.
Regarding Sigrid, 'Sucker Punch' was actually my second favourite album of 2019 (behind, unsurprisingly, 'Lover'), but while 'Home To You' wasn't on that album, she still scored her fourth #1 single with it here!
I'm really glad to hear that you're continuing to enjoy my contributions both here & over on OCC.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas too!
Finally, please let me know when you post your favourite songs of the year & I'll be sure to comment on them.
Thanks again for the comment!

Hey Piran! Amazing top 100 you have here - I feel like it summarizes the incredible year of music we've had in 2019! I remember reading your great review on 'SOS' over on OCC, so it's no surprise to see it at the top here, even though I can't say I love it, I appreciate that it's a great track from a great producer, and it's an amazing tribute to him as well. 'Sweet but Psycho' at #2, however, I enjoy seeing, even if it's worn off on me a bit - and I'm a bit curious, how close was it between those two tracks? I also like 'Outnumbered' and 'Piece of Your Heart' in the top 10 and 'Old Town Road' hovering just below is also great to see! I think my favorite track of your entire countdown has to be 'Takeaway' - an amazing track, which I think could make pretty high on my end-of-year list as well! All the Mabel entries are great to see, obviously, with 'Don't Call Me Up' being pretty high and 'God is a Dancer' a bit lower. 'Ride It' is another great dance track that I love to see here. Further down, 'So Am I', 'This Is Real' and 'Lose You To Love Me' are some great additions, but I really like 'break up' by Ariana, 'Wild' (this one especially, can't believe it didn't do anything in the UK!), 'All Day And Night', and my favorite of Lewis Capaldi, 'Hold Me While You Wait'. My end-of-year chart will be dropping in the coming days, and while I don't think many songs will cross over between mine and yours (some of the ones mentioned above definitely will, pretty high at that!), I can still tell you that yours is pretty amazing! As I said in the beginning, we've had incredible music this year, so I'm really looking forward to what the new decade will bring us.

Hey Akyovbashiev! :)
I'm very glad you're so positive on this chart as a whole & yeah, I'd say 2019 is certainly a decent year to close out the decade with.
Avicii was indeed an amazing producer, so I think 'SOS' being #1 gives him the tribute he deserves!
'Sweet But Psycho' did get a lot of overplay, but it reminded me so much of the early Lady Gaga hits (especially 'Bad Romance'), so it was definitely getting a very high placing in this list.
According to my Crown Note Year-End leaderboard, 'SOS' received 114420 points, while 'Sweet But Psycho' managed 103722, so there wasn't exactly a big difference there, haha!
What I do like about both my personal chart & the global charts this year is how so many different artists across a variety of genres got their breakthrough hits, as well as some classic acts making a return too, including Whitney Houston & Ozzy Osbourne in the latter case.
I'm a massive fan of The Chainsmokers, so it kind of a given that 'Takeaway' would do well, but yeah, I'm really surprised 'Wild' was never a hit anywhere really! Maybe the Spanish prevented it from getting attention in the UK?
I'm very excited for 2020 too & I have a really good feeling about the year ahead!
Thanks for the comment as usual.
The Chart Of The Decade is coming next!

Interesting chart Piran. I note a lot of Taylor Swift songs, particularly album tracks making your chart. Loads of Sigrid tracks too and I do think she is underrated! Surprised to see so many Eurovision entries, I normally forget about them by the end of May! Nice to see Khalid Saturday nights squeezing just into your chart at 100. I'm new to this but noticed you always comment on the official charts site. Not sure how I've never heard of this site. I'll be doing my end of year top 50 towards the end of the year.
