Chart - 22 January 2021

Week 4

Ex-One Direction member Niall Horan scores his first No. 1 single with 'Cross Your Mind,' the first from any member of the band. With his album Heartbreak Weather still topping the album charts this week, Niall Horan becomes the fourth artist to score the chart double after All Time Low, Dua Lipa and Gary Barlow scored theirs in 2020. That means Shane Codd's 'Get Out My Head' has to get out from the head of the chart, this week it is down a place to No. 2. EDM single 'NOPUS' by Eric Prydz is up a place to No. 3 as Niall Horan's 'Heartbreak Weather' falls two places to No. 4. Rising star Olivia Rodrigo's 'drivers license' is this week's highest new entry at No. 5.

There are also songs that earned themselves a new peak. KSI's 'Really Love' eclipses its former No. 11 peak by climbing three places to No. 10 while Justin Bieber's 'Anyone' continues its ascent up the chart, also up three places to No. 15.

Finally, Ariana Grande's '34+35' re-enters at No. 14 following a new remix with Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.

Hey Rector, another great chart as usual! I really like seeing Niall at Number 1, “Cross Your Mind” is such a banger. I also really like the Top 5-debut for Olivia Rodrigo, I wonder if she’ll reach the top on your chart as well. Also nice to see so much Gary Barlow love on the chart, I’m a big Take That-fan and I like some of Gary’s solo stuff as well :) Have a nice weekend!

Hey Link! I'm glad you liked Niall at #1 along with the debut for Olivia Rodrigo. I reckon she might climb higher and top the chart if nothing stands in her way! I'm also really pleased to hear that you appreciate the Gary Barlow love on my charts, I'm also a massive Take That fan and love his solo stuff. He does get seem to get a lot of hate on his solo material for some reason though. Thanks for the comment and have a nice week ahead! :)

Hey Rector! It's cool to see 'Cross Your Mind' climbing up to #1 this week, and the debut at #5 for 'drivers license' and climb to a new peak of #10 for really love are both impressive to see as well! I'm also really liking the re-entry at #14 for '34+35', and it's fantastic to see 'Goosebumps' debuting on the Bubbling Under chart as well! Great chart again! :D

Hey Gameskiller! I'm glad you enjoyed 'Cross Your Mind' at the top along with the debut for 'drivers license' and the new peak of 'Really Love!' I'm also pleased you liked the return of '34+35' and 'Goosebumps,' I reckon both might climb a little in the next chart. Thanks for the comment! :D

Hey Rector! :)
I love seeing 'Drivers License' as the only debut of the week, as well as 'Really Love' hitting a new peak! Both of these songs previously reached #1 for me, so it's really awesome to see them both inside your Top 10 right now.
Elsewhere, the return for '34+35' is cool too! Did you prefer the original or the remix with Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion?
Amazing chart as usual!

Hey Piran! :) Glad you liked the debut of 'drivers license' and the new peak of 'Really Love'! Those are really deserving #1s for sure :) I actually like both versions of '34+35' but if I had to pick, I'd go for the remix just because it's different haha! Thanks for the comment! :D
