Week 43

Despite emerging victorious last week, this week 'Levitating' by Dua Lipa drops four places to No. 5, a result of overplayment to an extent. That means All Time Low's 'Summer Daze (Seasons, Pt. 2)' is free to reclaim the top spot for the second week, making it the first song by the band to do so.

All Time Low also enjoys three more songs in the Top 10, 'Basement Noise', which gains five places to No. 4, 'Glitter & Crimson', which skyrockets twelve places to No. 8, and 'Sleeping In', ascending two places out of the lower half to No. 9. Having four songs in the upper half by a single artist might look uncommon, but the last time that happened was a mere month ago, when four of Twenty One Pilots' songs appeared in the Top 10.

Back at the top end, 'Mood' by 24kGoldn rises three places and comfortably sits in runner-up position as it gains a new peak after spending 7 weeks in the chart. 'Lasting Lover' by Sigala and James Arthur follows closely at No. 3 for the third week in a row, seemingly stuck at its position.

There are also rebounds for former No. 1s. Gary Barlow's 'Elita' gains two places to No. 6 following the release of its music video while 'Head & Heart' by Joel Corry jumps up eleven places to No. 7 after appearing on Strictly.

Further down, '(Fuck A) Silver Lining' by Panic! at the Disco takes a bow at No. 13 while 'Diamonds' by Sam Smith ascends two places to No. 15. Save for 'The Hype (Berlin)' by Twenty One Pilots, which re-enters at No. 16, the bottom quarter are largely songs plummeting with a trajectory that is all but sure to be out of the chart next week.

Dropouts:
15. Twenty One Pilots - Level of Concern
19. Dermot Kennedy - Giants

1. All Time Low - Wake Up, Sunshine (=)
2. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia (=)
3. Panic! at the Disco - Pray for the Wicked (+2)

Hey Rector! :)
It's interesting to All Time Low take #1 on the albums chart, along with their new album getting some success on the singles chart too! I can't really comment on that, as I haven't heard it yet, but I really love seeing 'Mood' rise to the runner-up spot & 'Head & Heart' take a massive rebound back into the Top 10.
Awesome chart!

Hi Piran! Happy to see you here! I recommend a listen if you enjoyed Machine Gun Kelly's new album, it's similarly pop punk/pop rock :) By the looks of things, 'positions' will probably challenge for that top spot next week so 'Mood' will have to slide down, but I can see 'Head & Heart' sticking around more in the Top 10. Thanks for the comment!
