This week, I didn't pay close enough attention to the current hits, as I spent a week away on holidays with friends. Curiously enough, the song I listened to the most this week was The Weeknd's "Starboy", featuring Daft Punk, which I always felt was a #1 hit that got robbed of its stay at the summit simply because, when I started the chart, it had already stopped being my favorite song - a status it probably had throughout the first few weeks of the year. Therefore, I figured it was fitting if that song, that I heard so much this week and whose lyrics I finally - sort of - know, finally hit #1. I doubt it even stays in the chart beyond this week, but hey, you never know - I certainly didn't expect it to be a #1 hit this late in the game. But yes, it does seem fitting overall.
