It was a bit forced, but, finally, Charlie Puth's "Attention" hits the #1 spot, after being #2 under three different songs ("Versace on the Floor", "Look What You Made Me Do" and "New Rules"). It just had to be #1, for I really like that song, and would hate for it to go down in history as a #2 hit simply due to other songs being preferred at the time. In addition to that, the charting of "Wonder Why" marks the first time that Portuguese performers (The Black Mamba and Aurea) crack the top 10, albeit with a song in English (and keeping in mind that Portugal. The Man is an American band, although it adds to the coincidence that the first song by Portuguese performers charts at the same time as a band with Portugal in their name).
