Rockmaker Top 40 Singles

Taylor Swift lands her seventh #1 on Rockmaker with "Message In A Bottle (Taylor's Version)" music from the action thriller film "The Vault" finally dethroning favorite Adele's "Easy On Me". The last time Taylor Swift reached the top was last December with "Willow," one of the songs with the shortest Top 40 tenure to reach the highest position. Will Taylor manage to stay atop? Three Christmas classics jump into the Top 5 this week: Burl Ives' "A Holly Jolly Christmas" (#3), Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" (#4) and Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (#5) and any of the three could take the top spot next week just before Christmas week. Meanwhile, American singer Gayle's "abcdefu" debuts in the Top Ten in a big jump to #6. Who will take the crown next week?

Hello Rockmaker!
Awesome to see Taylor having a #1 Single in your chart with an amazing song!
We also love the christmas songs doing well on christmas time!
And the top 40 entry for "I NEED YOU is fantastic too, it has reached the top 40 for me too and it will get higher in the new year, the song keeps growing on me!
From the below the top 40 section as mentioned before, the christmas songs gaining and returning are nice, especially "Wonderful Dream", such an underrated christmas song that only is popular in german-speaking countries.
And from the non-christmas songs, I like the gains for "Better Days", "Seventeen Going Under", "Do It To It" and "I Drink Wine", as well as the debut for "Spit Of You".
Great chart as always!
Will be interesting see your last two charts of the year, before going into 2022 with fresh eyes and more amazing music.
And I look forward to your Year-End List of 2021, I already posted my Year-End List, if you have the time, check it out as well as my recent chart I've put out on Friday.
Take care and have a great week!

Hi Sergej! It's a pleasure to read you. Against all odds, indeed "Message In A Bottle (Taylor's Version)" managed to dethrone "Easy" before the Christmas classics storm the Top 3 next week. "I Need You" is among the few non-Christmas songs to have a high increase in earnings this week and its entry into the Top 40 is well deserved. I agree that "Wonderful Dream" is a beautiful song that is underrated and good thing it is popular in Germany. We'll see how "Better Days", "Seventeen Going Under", "Do It To It", "I Drink Wine" and "Spit Of You" do from January. Of course I'll take a look at your year-end chart. Have a great week!
