FOR WEEK ENDING
JANUARY 29, 2022
"We Don't Talk About Bruno" music from the Disney movie "Encanto" hits #1 this week. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is a choral number (sung by the Encanto Cast: Carolina Gaitan - La Gaita, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz) that fuses several genres including guajira, Cuban folk, hip hop and dance styles of Latin origin. The last time an animated movie song reached the top was in 2014 with "Happy" by Pharrell Williams from the film "Despicable Me 2" and the last Disney animated production to reach #1 was "Someday" by All-4-One from the film "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame" (1996).
American singer, songwriter and actor Michael Lee Aday, better known as Meat Loaf, passed away at 74 (January 20). His smash hit Grammy winner "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" reached #1 in October 1993 and twenty-nine years later returns to the Top 40 at #24 this week.

Hi there Rockmaker!
Nice to see "Less Than Zero" being a high climber in your chart, really hope this becomes a single soon enough!
Also happy to see Meat Loaf in the top 40, even if it's under sad circumstances.
Below the top 40, "For Tonight" almost getting the top 40 is nice, as are the debuts for "Head On Fire" (My friends and I love this song so much) and "Beg For You" (A banger).
Also I heard "We Don't Talk About Bruno" for the first time during a chart show from one of my friends and I found it ok. Not bad, not good, just ok.
Great chart as usual!
Hi Sergej!
I hope that "Less Than Zero" continues to climb as, in my opinion, it's the most digestible of Abel's new album. "For Tonight" has a lot of promise (even though it charted many weeks below the Top 40) and I think "Head on Fire" also has the perfect recipe to be a hit and should have no problem charting in my Top 40 soon. Let's wait what happens with "Beg For You" on my chart in the next few weeks.
From "We Don't Talk About Bruno" I like the Latin styles of music it employs as well as its very catchy chorus. "Encanto" is an upbeat musical movie with lots of color and movement and I like it. A great week to you. :D
