Rockmaker Top 40 Singles

"Dance Monkey" conquers No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week. However, the reign of Australian Tones and I could end next week if Roddy Ricch wins the prey. "The Box" rises 18 positions directly to No. 2 with great gain in streaming, airpower and sales. At the same time, Ricch's album - "Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial" - goes up to No. 2 on Top Albums. Lady Antebellum's "What If I Never Get Over You" climbs to No. 3 and becomes the first country song - from Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey's "The Middle" from 2018 - to reach the Top 3.

Hi Rockmaker!
That huge gain for "The Box" is incredible! It has grown on me a lot, so glad to see it here!
Also great to see "Blinding Lights" in the top 10! The continued gains for "One", "Saturday" and "Blinde Passagiere" is also nice to see!
Out of the top 40 debuts, I by far like only "Rare".
From the under 40 debuts, I like "Roses" (but only the Imanbek Remix, not the original), "What A Man Gotta Do", "Power Over Me" and especially seeing "Grow Up To Be You", "Seventeen" and "Se Ti Potessi Dire" makes me happy. The re-entry for "South Of The Border" is nice as well.
The only downside is that "I Wish I Never Met You" dropped 3 places, but it's not a heavy loss.
Great chart as always!
My newest chart is up as well, please check it out if you have the time!
Have a great week!

Hi Sergej! I'm very happy that you also like "The Box" which, although its lyrics are a bit conflicting, I like the "tik tok" of the melody and has grown a lot in streaming. "Blinding Lights" finally in my Top Ten!, it was time because it's a very good song of The Weeknd. I hope that "Heartless" can also enter my Top 40 in the coming weeks. I tell you that "One" is No. 1 on my private Top Critic's Choice chart for its melody and lyrics, not just any song has that honor. Like "One" and "Blinde Passagiere", "Grow Up To Be You", "Seventeen" and "Se Ti Potessi Dire" are also recommendations of your playlist, it's great music. I hope that "I Wish I Never Met You" can overcome the small stumble of this week. I would like to know what you think of Lady Antebellum's songs. As always, I'm very grateful for your comments and excellent musical recommendations. I also wish you a great week :)

Hi Rockmaker again!
Yes, the windshield wiper sound on "The Box" makes it iconic and it's surprising to me, that it has become a hit, it grew on me.
Wow! "One" is your private Top Critic's Choice #1, I might try some new private charts as well like an Airplay and streaming chart, maybe I'll add it on my PDF as well.
Glad that my recommendations are charting, always try to share my music taste with everyone!
As for Lady Antebellum, they are a country band that I can respect. When I'll start archiving my chart here on Crownnote, you'll see where "Need You Now" will land on my Year-end chart in 2010 and right now, their recent song "What If I Never Get Over You" is already climbing on my Mid-week chart and I can say if it holds up, it will debut on my next chart this week on Friday.
Have a great week as always!

Good Monday Sergej! I think it's great that you include new charts in your musical report. I'm very happy that "What If I Never Get Over You" has a chance to enter your Top 100, it's a beautiful song. I tell you that now I also follow the playlist of the Offizielle Deutche Charts, I find the German music scene very interesting. On the other hand, I have no doubt that "Volare" would have been a great # 1 hit in our charts if we had lived in 1958 :D Thank you for sharing the current Italian hits with all of us. Receive a big hug!
